Not Necessary

I have not used these for my own children. But as a teacher in the 2 year old class at a preschool, I have helped to potty train dozens of children. I did not see any advantage to potty training for the kids whose parents bought these (or any) training pants compared to the parents who just went from diapers straight to underwear. If you have the extra money, maybe it will work for your child. But these are harder to change than a diaper for bowel movements, so I personally plan to use regular diapers until my children are consistently using the toilet and then switching straight to underwear (I sometimes see children delaying potty training because being wet or dirty in a pair of training pants is not as uncomfortable as being soiled in a pair of undies)

Pretty Good

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These are great in that they are very much like underwear and help him feel independent. BUT they are difficult to change with a BM because the sides aren't velcro like diapers or some of the other training pants. So you have to tear them and then you can't seal them up really well before disposing of them. Not my favorites, but better that some.

Best pull up design by far

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I absolutely love the Pampers Easy Ups, the fabric doesn't itch or hurt my son's skin. Also they are literately easy to pull up. Other brands have been such a hassle.. so I just stick with Pamper's from now on. My only reasoning for the four stars instead of five is that sometimes.. usually at least one per box.. the pull ups rip on the side seam before I can even get them on my son. Other then that, I absolutely love them.

Great Training Pants

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have tried many different brands of training pants and nothing compares to EasyUps. Pampers may cost more than other brands but buying those brands you pay half the price but use double to triple the amount you would have used with Pampers therefore in the end you spend more money on cheaper brands than if you would have just bought the good stuff first!! I know when I put my kids to bed they can and will sleep a full 8 hours in one diaper without leaking through and/or getting a diaper rash.

great for starting potty training

We began using these as we began potty training. Our little one wants to wear her "panties" as she calls them and not diapers anymore. We find these to be a great transition item while learning to potty and while still having those occasional mishaps.

used at night

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I started out using huggies just because they had Velcro for easy changing. My son hated them. He said the sides were scratchy. These were much softer and more comfortable. They do not open on the sides so they only work well if your child is staying dry and going potty. If they are wetting in them they would be a pain

Too good?

Pull ups are easy to get off and on for my daughter but I think they have had the opposite effect on potty training. I think she has gotten to comfortable with them and it actually delayed her training. I do not think this is a reflection on the pull ups themselves just the concept of pull ups as a whole.

Great for potty training

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We started potty training about 6 months ago at age 3. We have been using the pull ups the whole time, and they are great. They really helped him get used to the idea of underwear, and having to go to the potty. Now we use them at night or during long car rides, and during the day he wears underwear.
