Honey, let's be real. When the original Switch stepped onto the scene, it was a cute fling. A fun little device you could take to parties. But the Nintendo Switch 2? This isn't a fling, darling—this is the one you bring home to meet your digital parents. The Graphics Upgrade That Demands a Gaze I used to think my original Switch was high-def. I was so innocent. The Switch 2 is running games at a resolution so sharp, I'm pretty sure my copy of Animal Crossing just called me "sweetheart" and winked. The textures on Mario's overalls? Luscious. The sheer, blinding beauty of Samus's armor? I need a moment. This console doesn't just display pixels; it orchestrates a visual symphony that makes your eyes feel like they're sipping champagne on a private jet. That New Controller Feel The Joy-Cons on the original were nice, but the Switch 2's new controllers? They feel less like plastic peripherals and more like perfectly sculpted extensions of your gaming soul. They snap on with a magnetic thwack that sounds like a professional drummer hitting a snare right before a killer solo. And when you feel that next-gen rumble? It's not just a vibration; it's a tactile conversation where the controller is whispering sweet nothings about frame rates and haptic feedback right into your palms. Portability That's Basically Flirting You can dock it, you can take it to the park, you can play it under the covers at 3 AM while eating questionable snacks—the versatility is frankly unbecoming of a gaming console, and I love it. The battery life lasts so long, I was starting to think it was just powered by pure, unadulterated passion. My only complaint? It's so sleek and attractive, I'm genuinely worried my other electronics are getting jealous. In summary: If the Switch was a dependable Prius, the Switch 2 is a Ferrari that still somehow has great gas mileage. It’s powerful, it’s gorgeous, and it makes every other portable device in the room feel immediately inadequate.

I didn’t have to wait long after the initial launch date to get my hands on the Switch 2. It only took a little patience. Having Walmart gave me early access when new stock came in. It was worth the wait. The Switch 2 is a great upgrade from the original.

There was no seal on the box and when you look up to see if the code is supposed to be a card inside the box it just says some come with a card and some prompt you on the shop to download the included game. So I hade to set up the whole switch to make sure the game was included and hot not been tampered with since there was no seal. This is a Christmas present for my child and would have been nice if I didn’t have to pull it out and set it up to make sure the game was included

While platforms like Roblox and YouTube often have content that children can become addicted to and that can be harmful, Nintendo seems to have very little of that. I already owned a Switch 1 and recently purchased a Switch 2, and I'm very satisfied with both.

It has been used daily, providing good entertainment at a reasonable price. So far the product has held up well, so at the time I would rate the quality as high as I have.

i am giving 4 stars because i love that you can use regular switch games on the switch 2 the digital and the game cards and i like that you can update your swith one games to run better on the switch 2. i also love that you can use your previous swith controllers by pairing them with the new switch 2 and i like that you can hook up a web camera to the switch 2 and see others that are not with you and play games with them like there with you inperson but i don't like that the camra is not included and you have to buy it separately but cant complanin to much about it tho its a cool thing you can do with the switch2 now and i love the included game its super fun and what i don't like is that you can't use youtube or any other streaming services like hulu or netflix on this switch.on my previous switch i could use those streaming platforms and its a bummer because i used that feature alot on road trips with the kids and vacations it was nice having all of that in one hand held gaming device as well as allowing me to use streaming platforms but the new switch 2 games are great and the game play is a lot better then previous ones but other then that i really am enjoying this switch is it worth as much as its priced at yes and no depending on what your wanting in your gaming device. i would say yes because its great on the game play is alot better and the new games are pretty great and fun to play and if your only using it for gaming then its a very solid console and great for the price but if your wanting a gaming and streaming device the it would be a no and i wouldn't go with this and the price wouldn't be worth it i would look for something else. but all and all i really like it so far and my kids do to. also i don't like how much the switch 2 games are but it is what it is and i really enjoy this gaming console.

i love this console. its a great upgrade for me from the og Switch1. battery life isnt great but im fine w it. bigger screen. better hardware. Backwards compatibility mads it a no brainer. renders the switch 1 obsolete since it not only plays all Switch1 games as well and even makes them load faster in most cases or adds a Switch 2 upgrade pack. sold my og switch on ebay for like $160 making this only about a $350 upgrade. idgaf about there not being many games yet for Switch2. theyll come. plenty of backlogged switch1 games to play in the meantime on a bigger screen w faster load times or even upgraded graphics. illnpay 10 bucks for upgraded graphics of Zelda nonprob. some upgrades are even free.

We love this system, and have been fans on Nintendo and its properties for decades. That being said, we’ve been playing our Nintendo Switch 2 every day since we got it two months ago. There are glaring issues with the controllers, from the joycons sticking, to buttons becoming non-responsive during gameplay. We still love the system overall, but can’t help feeling frustrated with the lack of quality in the accessories.

Everything is in good working condition. Transfer of my save data from my Nintendo Switch to my Nintendo Switch 2 was very easy and straightforward, as was the download process for the included Mario Kart World game (the instructions were on the box and the system itself already recognized that it is part of a bundle that includes the digital download).
