my two older two kids have a Nintendo switch one and my youngest doesn't really have Electronics so I got him the Nintendo switch to I love it how it hooks up to my TV and I get to play it with him fall and extra remote just so I can play with him

overall the Switch 2 is an awesome upgrade from the original, However it's definitely on the heavier side and it's quite large so be aware of that, I highly recommend a grip for it. this is not the console I'd recommend if you're playing AAA games or the newest fps. I highly recommend this system if you're interested in Nintendo games exclusively. it will definitely play new games decently but don't expect to have great graphics.

The Nintendo Switch 2 is a polished upgrade that improves on nearly everything fans liked about the original. It keeps the hybrid design but adds a sharper display, better performance, and smoother gameplay. The updated Joy-Cons feel more reliable and comfortable, and load times are noticeably faster. It handles modern games much better, though it’s still not as powerful as top-tier consoles. Battery life and online features are just okay, not standout. Verdict: A solid, refined upgrade—perfect if you already love Nintendo’s ecosystem, but not a must-buy for everyone.

If you already have the first generation Nintendo Switch i highly recommend you upgrade to the second one. Improved graphics, frames per second, online and so much more.

i love this console. its a great upgrade for me from the og Switch1. battery life isnt great but im fine w it. bigger screen. better hardware. Backwards compatibility mads it a no brainer. renders the switch 1 obsolete since it not only plays all Switch1 games as well and even makes them load faster in most cases or adds a Switch 2 upgrade pack. sold my og switch on ebay for like $160 making this only about a $350 upgrade. idgaf about there not being many games yet for Switch2. theyll come. plenty of backlogged switch1 games to play in the meantime on a bigger screen w faster load times or even upgraded graphics. illnpay 10 bucks for upgraded graphics of Zelda nonprob. some upgrades are even free.

This was the big “family” gift for Christmas. I have not felt this much joy gaming since buying and playing the Nintendo Wii! The kid loves it and is re-experiencing the Switch now that she’s old enough to appreciate, the wife is actually enjoying MK, and it’s a nearly complete Zelda machine for me. 10/10

The Switch 2 is honestly incredible. One of the best handheld consoles I’ve used, easily up there with the PS Vita. Performance, screen, and overall experience are great. That said, there are a couple of downsides. The push toward digital-only games isn’t for everyone, and the battery is disappointing. If I don’t use it for 1–2 days, it’s almost completely drained. My Switch 1 could sit for a week and still hold a good charge. Still a great console, but those issues are hard to ignore.

We love this system, and have been fans on Nintendo and its properties for decades. That being said, we’ve been playing our Nintendo Switch 2 every day since we got it two months ago. There are glaring issues with the controllers, from the joycons sticking, to buttons becoming non-responsive during gameplay. We still love the system overall, but can’t help feeling frustrated with the lack of quality in the accessories.

i am giving 4 stars because i love that you can use regular switch games on the switch 2 the digital and the game cards and i like that you can update your swith one games to run better on the switch 2. i also love that you can use your previous swith controllers by pairing them with the new switch 2 and i like that you can hook up a web camera to the switch 2 and see others that are not with you and play games with them like there with you inperson but i don't like that the camra is not included and you have to buy it separately but cant complanin to much about it tho its a cool thing you can do with the switch2 now and i love the included game its super fun and what i don't like is that you can't use youtube or any other streaming services like hulu or netflix on this switch.on my previous switch i could use those streaming platforms and its a bummer because i used that feature alot on road trips with the kids and vacations it was nice having all of that in one hand held gaming device as well as allowing me to use streaming platforms but the new switch 2 games are great and the game play is a lot better then previous ones but other then that i really am enjoying this switch is it worth as much as its priced at yes and no depending on what your wanting in your gaming device. i would say yes because its great on the game play is alot better and the new games are pretty great and fun to play and if your only using it for gaming then its a very solid console and great for the price but if your wanting a gaming and streaming device the it would be a no and i wouldn't go with this and the price wouldn't be worth it i would look for something else. but all and all i really like it so far and my kids do to. also i don't like how much the switch 2 games are but it is what it is and i really enjoy this gaming console.

I bought this for fiancée as a surprise and tucked it away for my fiancée until it was their birthday. By the time they opened it and tested it out, we found out the Nintendo Switch 2 console was faulty. It struggles to run games when it’s in handheld mode, but runs fine on the dock. If they try to play most of their games on handheld mode, it will crash.
