This reviews late yet fair. The Switch 2 is a good ipgrade for anyone who bought a switch one early in its life span. the loading is faster. The graghics pop. Yet the Joy cons are still small and really the battery life gos fast. Mario kart world is a great pack in title the game alone however is over priced at most it should be droped by 10 dollars.

You know that you are purchasing a quality product with Nintendo. You are not going to get state of the art graphics, but you will experience waves of nostalgia while playing titles like Pokémon, The Legend of Zelda, Donkey Kong, Mario, and Metroid. Unfortunately, the games have increased in price, but some titles provide a free Switch 2 upgrade if you buy or already own the original Switch version. The dock requires its own charger out of the box, but the original switch charger will charge the console in handheld mode. I recommend a version that comes with a game to save $70. The new Mario Kart is gorgeous. Highly recommend if you have kids, family, or friends. If you play in handheld mode a majority of the time and own a Switch OLED, i would wait unless you want to play Switch 2 only titles like Donkey Kong Bonanza. If you have an original release Switch and you play it often, its totally worth an upgrade. It is larger than the original Switch, which makes it slightly more difficult to travel with. If you own a Switch lite, I would recommend traveling with that. Recommend a screen protector upon unboxing and a Satisfye grip for handheld use. Lastly, the original Switch Pro Controller works with the Switch 2. The only drawback is that the original controller cannot turn on the console, forcing you to experience a first-world problem by walking up to your Switch 2 to turn it on.

After seeing the release earlier this year, and my son wanting one for the past few years, we took the plunge and went all out for his Christmas gift! Since opening the game system Christmas Eve he has been almost non stop playing the system MK World and two other games we got him. Easy to set up, graphics are great, he can play on the tv or on the go!

Nintendo is at it again. Sleak design, the new controller mechanics are an obvious upgrade. Backwards compatibility with Switch games is amazing. 120 FPS Zelda? Yes please! 4K? Yup, that's there too. Well done Nintendo, well done. I just unplugged my PS5 Pro for this, and my family and I are loving every minute of it.

if you have the money to buy a switch 2 save yourself some grief and get an xbox you will be much happier unless you absolutely want to play mario or zelda which will cost 60 to 70$ each or need a hand held console this thing is not worth 600$. I now own one and would have never made the purchase had i known they would be reselling old games with graphic updates for an outrageous 60$ each. the pro control will run you around 100$. for the tall price the value just isnt there. mark my words you will regret this purchase.

It’s just a better Switch and Nintendo is charging way too much for this and the games. You can’t even purchase hard copy games anymore. I have digital downloads for my other systems, but I also have hard copies so I can share with friends or even sell the game for credit towards another game. Nintendo has removed all of that. If you buy a “hard copy” from the store, you will find a code for a digital download when you open the game case - no game cartridge. It doesn’t feel like you own anything with this. You’re only leasing it. If this purchase was for me I’d take it back, but it was a gift and they seem pretty happy with it.

Nintendo systems are always expensive when they are first released, so I was not surprised by the price. My 18 year old son loves gaming and Nintendo has always been his favorite. He is gonna be so happy to see this under the tree from Santa! Plus, it comes with a Mario cart game too!

i love this console. its a great upgrade for me from the og Switch1. battery life isnt great but im fine w it. bigger screen. better hardware. Backwards compatibility mads it a no brainer. renders the switch 1 obsolete since it not only plays all Switch1 games as well and even makes them load faster in most cases or adds a Switch 2 upgrade pack. sold my og switch on ebay for like $160 making this only about a $350 upgrade. idgaf about there not being many games yet for Switch2. theyll come. plenty of backlogged switch1 games to play in the meantime on a bigger screen w faster load times or even upgraded graphics. illnpay 10 bucks for upgraded graphics of Zelda nonprob. some upgrades are even free.

what's not to like!? this console is awesome!! a great improvement over the first Switch and even has 4k support when docked. way better joycons and features. super fast downloads and updates. better sound quality. just buy one. you'll be glad you did!

Everything is in good working condition. Transfer of my save data from my Nintendo Switch to my Nintendo Switch 2 was very easy and straightforward, as was the download process for the included Mario Kart World game (the instructions were on the box and the system itself already recognized that it is part of a bundle that includes the digital download).
