Getting older is hard and I want to keep up with my health. I look for sustainable/responsible ways to supplement my diet. This fish oil is one of the ways for me to fill those gaps. Best thing about this one specifically is you only need to take 1, instead of the 2 or 3 for other brands. God for all the important parts...brain, heart, immune system.

Finding a fish oil supplement that offers triple strength and no aftertaste is quite a task, but the Sports Research Omega 3 Fish Oil product does just that! As well, I look for the three main ingredients in all vitamins that I take: source, content, and testing. I was happy to see that the source of this supplement was from fish from Alaska, the content of DHA and EPA was balanced for higher efficacy, and the testing indicated safe levels of mercury. But the win for me was knowing I would benefit from the health options it provided to my cholesterol, and inflammation!

I couldn't find much information regarding the size of these before I actually opened them. But, unfortunately, they were SO big I could barely swallow them. I know a lot of people have issues swallowing pills in general, but with these being SO HUGE I literally couldn't do it. I took one, with so much struggle, that it hurt after. It felt stuck in my throat for a while, which is extremely unpleasant. Sadly I can't rate any benefits due to the sheer gigantic-ness of these pills.

So this is my first time using a fish oil supplement. I do take a number of daily vitamins so after a week or so it is tough to say if I am noticing the benefits of it. My initial reaction is yes, that it is. I however feel like body overall is experiencing less inflammation than I had before using it. My triglycerides were slightly elevated so I'd also be curious where they'd be after taking this for a month. Overall I am happy with it and will continue to make it part of my daily regiment.

The Omega-3 fish oil pills by Sports Research have been so good! The other fish oil pills I’ve taken before would always make me burp and it would taste like fish oil which was not pleasant at all.
