Nasty READ for Details

Horrendously disgusting. I am not a picky eater. I finally have these a chance as I kept seeing them next to our favorite (Bare Lightly Breaded Chicken bites, Chicken filet sandwich, and Chicken Strips). I went to cook them in my airfryer with high hopes. Firstly, the breading was already unevenly coated on each piece. The chicken pieces are square shaped and rolled into their nasty "breading". I was trusting the process and proceeded to cook in my air fryer. By the time they were done cooking, the breading was completely gone. Still, I continued on and tried them. AWFUL!!!! Weird chewy square pieces! I had to pick up breading and eat it along with the chicken squares for it to make sense. It still didn't make sense. I offered the rest to my dogs. They didn't even want it. So upset I wasted money on this. I'm not picky at all, but even I had to be real with myself and throw the bag away.

Delicious nuggets!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought these in January & probably bought a bag ever 2 weeks. My daughter who is the pickiest eater even loves them which is crazy!! They crisp up so perfectly in the airfryer. They are delicious!!

Odd texture with gristle

It was good for a while and then a couple of months ago it changed and now I'm getting all these grizzly pieces of hard rubbish stuff in the chicken. I don't know what happened, but they obviously changed the quality and lowered dramatically. I don't buy it anymore.

Good chicken, terrible cooking method

I can tell the chicken meat in these is not processed, which is nice. But whoever came up with the idea of breading with chickpea flour and frying in tallow needs to be fired. The breading texture is mushy and awful, soaked in grease that has been used for way too long without being changed.

Not my fave I'm sorry!!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This could be because I don't have an actual air fryer and I cooked these on the air fryer setting in my oven but this chicken itself was super dry and stringy. The breading was soggy and not crispy. The flavoring was bland but it was OK. Overall just not a hit for me. I think also the added whey protein feels kind of weird to me considering it's already chicken and should be enough protein... I would have preferred it be a grain free breading without the whey.

More like Real Bad!

More like real bad… As a gluten free household, we were excited to see these pop up at Sam's and give them a try. Unfortunately, they smell terrible, taste just as bad, and the texture on some of the pieces justifies not swallowing. I don't think these would be good even if they weren't gluten free. Was really hoping for these to be halfway decent.

Good but "light"

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Decided to try this since there is only a "lightly breaded." Yes, there was a little breading, but there was only a "lightly (amount of) chicken" as well. The taste was good, but I'd suggest adding some additional seasoning or sauce.

Best nuggets ever!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After finding this brand, I became obsessed with trying all of their products. I bought these last week and they did not disappoint. Like all Real Good products, these were low calorie without being low quality. Most chicken nuggets brands are over 200 calories for just a couple nuggets, but these are less than 200 for several large pieces. They also taste so much better! Something about the light breading just keeps you reaching for another bite. I'll be stocking my deep freezer with these for the rest of my life.

Texture

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These low-carb chicken nuggets from Real Good Foods are really tasty and convenient. They have a crispy outside, tender chicken inside, and great flavor without feeling too heavy. They are easy to prepare and make a quick, satisfying meal or snack.
