I absolutely LOVE this freezer! Prior to this purchase, I always had an extra large Kenmore deep freezer. But in the end, I found that the gigantic single lid was a problem. It froze inside, and then it wouldn't stay open on the hinges due to its weight, and then it was impossible to hold it open while digging for something. It would slam down, and eventually, the whole inner lid broke through. I had nowhere to put all the stuff to allow the lid to defrost. And then replacement parts weren't available. That's what led me to this purchase. I'm so glad I chose this freezer! The dual top lid on such a large freezer is a must! It's so much easier to manage and just makes sense. I love the dual locks, as well. I can make sure it's shut and lock it so I don't have to worry about someone leaving it not quite closed. I also love the casters on the bottom, making it easy to move, even when full. My Kenmore was impossible to move. It was even difficult when it was empty. I just feel like this freezer is so well-thought out. I used the divider inserts from my Kenmore Elite and cut them down to custom fit into this freezer, and that truly was the icing on the cake, making this the perfect freezer. Now it's divided into sections so I can separate different meats, which makes whatever I'm looking for much easier to locate. If this freezer came with such dividers, it would be absolutely perfect and the best freezer out there, hands down. Great product at a great price! Delivery was great, as well, and no damage on arrival. The packaging was excellent to protect it during transport.

Much larger than I expected. Friend had a freezer that was 1 cubic foot smaller, but it's much smaller than this! Love the double doors on top. 2 nice size baskets inside.

On the 21 cu/ft model the picture in the listing states 79.1"L x 31.0"W x 33.5"H The PDF file for this model in the listing states 79 9/64"L x 31 1/32"W x 33 35/64"H NONE of those are correct ACTUAL Dimensions as stated on the box for 21 cu/ft is 70.9"L (9 inches shorter x 31.2"W ( matches pdf) x 32.6"H (1 inch shorter)

Died after 2 weeks. Lost $2000 worth of meat that we had purchased it for. Sams club would do nothing at all to cover the loss. I would not trust Scams club for another appliance purchase again. Hamilton Beach says they do not make these they just license their name. They will not even take support calls for the item.

I purchased this freezer in July of 2025. The unit stopped working in November 2025. I was told I was approved for a warranty reimbursement and a refund would be sent out in 14 days. It has now been well over a month. Frustrating that an established company like Hamilton Beach (Curtis International) will not stand behind their product.
