[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Eggo protein waffles are amazing. You can add like sugar-free syrup. It still tastes like a waffle. It’s light and airy put it in your toaster and there you go. I eat mine have breakfast or if I want like a snack in the middle of the night I go for the protein waffles

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We’ve had the other flavors of these, and I’m happy to see a regular buttermilk flavor. We’ve been buying another brand of protein waffles recently and they tend to fall apart more whereas these stayed together well and crisped up nicely. They also don’t get mushy either butter and syrup, and have nice wells for both. The flavor just tastes like any other boxed waffle, but that’s a good sign for us since it doesn’t have a “protein” flavor. Our kids don’t eat many types of food and have aversions to more things than not, so protein waffles have been a staple for us. Taste, look and texture were all approved by them. I give the littles one waffle which is 5 grams of protein along with berries and sausage, and our older child eats 2 which is 10 grams. I do have an issue with some of the ingredients, like enriched flour (we have MTHFR and avoid synthetic b vitamins and folate) and also not a fan of the vegetable oil, but I think in comparison to other products this is still better than a regular frozen waffle. It’s very difficult to find products without these, so we know it’s something that we sometimes can’t avoid. Our dietary needs on a daily basis are a little different so I don’t see most people having an issue with this, just make sure to check the vitamin levels and ingredients for yourself if you’re sensitive or have specific needs.

Top-tier for protein waffles. I would imagine that some of the negative reviews are from people trying these because they are "healthier" than the regular frozen waffles they've been eating. If you haven't subjected yourself to all the other protein waffles on the market, then these probably aren't what you consider to be good waffles. If you have tried other high protein waffles, these are a revelation. Crispy, eggy, slightly sweet with a soft interior that doesn't suck all the moisture from your mouth. Four stars because I'd like to see slightly higher whole grains/fiber, but that probably would counteract all that's nice about these. Unfortunately, it seems Sam's no longer stocks these. Really hope they bring them back. They're significantly cheaper than the sizes at the grocery stores.

My husband and I just finished our first box of Eggo protein waffles.  We both thought they were very good. I love that that they are crunchy  with the hint of vanilla…yum! Great new product.
