This is a great way to incorporate some protein into my morning meals. They have great flavor and my kids love them. Definitely repurchasing!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We’ve had the other flavors of these, and I’m happy to see a regular buttermilk flavor. We’ve been buying another brand of protein waffles recently and they tend to fall apart more whereas these stayed together well and crisped up nicely. They also don’t get mushy either butter and syrup, and have nice wells for both. The flavor just tastes like any other boxed waffle, but that’s a good sign for us since it doesn’t have a “protein” flavor. Our kids don’t eat many types of food and have aversions to more things than not, so protein waffles have been a staple for us. Taste, look and texture were all approved by them. I give the littles one waffle which is 5 grams of protein along with berries and sausage, and our older child eats 2 which is 10 grams. I do have an issue with some of the ingredients, like enriched flour (we have MTHFR and avoid synthetic b vitamins and folate) and also not a fan of the vegetable oil, but I think in comparison to other products this is still better than a regular frozen waffle. It’s very difficult to find products without these, so we know it’s something that we sometimes can’t avoid. Our dietary needs on a daily basis are a little different so I don’t see most people having an issue with this, just make sure to check the vitamin levels and ingredients for yourself if you’re sensitive or have specific needs.

My kids have been eating them nonstop and I am ok with that because it has a great amount of protein in it. It will keep them fuller longer! Comes in a nice box that keeps the waffles protected and free of damage!

Cooked for the recommended time and crisped up nicely on a cookie sheet in the oven (we do not own a toaster). Tastes almost identical to other frozen waffles, with the added bonus of the extra protein. I used oven to prepare them and it took me just 5 minutes, which is so convenient for busy mornings. The texture is fluffy inside with a light crisp on the outside and has a hearty bite that reminds me of whole grain waffles. The flavor has a slightly nutty and wholesome taste you often get from whole grains even though the package says they are made with enriched wheat flour. They are not too sweet so they work well with any toppings and I love the extra protein for a more filling breakfast.
