I received my smartwash Thursday and used it today. I am in LOVE!!!!! The carpets I have hadn't been cleaned in about four or five years (we were gifted this home) and they were dirty!!!!! My carpets look brand new!!! I'm purchasing the hard floor one next!!!!

The 3rd time I used it, it quit sucking up the water. Now I have a sopping carpet and no way to remove the water. Now I may have to rent an emergency machine. I checked all the connections too. Nothing is loose and nothing is stopped up in the vacuum area. :(

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The great thing about this cleaner is that it's easy to take apart and clean completely. That's also a negative thing: after cleaning the brushes, it's tricky putting the nozzle back together. Whle frustrating at first, I now have the hang of it thanks to a helpful customer service agent. Also, like another reviewer, I had to put 2 cups of warm water in the dirty water tank to get the intake moving for one carpet only.

Shipping: from order date our Hoover arrived in less then a week. The extra pet solution arrived another week later, but we were still able to clean carpets with the solution it came with. Hoover Cleaner: it is super easy to use and leaves the carpet smelling nice and clean. I was surprised on how well it picked up old dog urine stains and made the carpet look like new. ONLY REGRET is that I did not take before and after pictures to show how well it works. We did save the box to store it in after uses.

This machine is great. It's so easy to put together and use. Buttons light up, push forward to wash pull back to dry It has large capacity water and dirty water tanks. There's a dry button to soak up extra water. I have dogs that shed, doesn't matter how good I vacuum there's hair. This machine seems to separate the hair because there's none in the dirty water. Everything comes apart to clean. I'm rambling sorry. Just very happy with my purchase.

Just used it for the first time. Cord isn't nearly long enough. Recline feature is difficult to work, I think that's the worst feature. Washes, rinses and dries well. Minimally wet afterwards. Wide mouth which is appreciated. Easy to clean. Good value.

I cleaned my carpets day one and it did a excellent, on the second day, midway through the bedroom I was cleaning, the WASH function did not activate while going forward. It stayed in the DRY position while moving forward (and no, I did not have the DRY only button depressed). I cleaned the brushes, made sure the water tank was full and insured the wasted water was emptied and that the brush cover plate was firmly attached. I even use the hose feature to insure the water pump was working (which it did).

Was really hesitant to purchase this carpet cleaner but it was the best purchase I have ever made. I have two rooms with wall to wall light beige carpeting as well as an old dog so you can only imagine the need. I was absolutely amazed at the end result. They look brand new. The SmartWash was easy to use and they were dry to walk on within an hour. I highly recommend purchasing this carpet cleaner.

Today I received my Hoover SmartWash, it was simple to put together and simple to use. My house is not big so I cleaned 3 rooms in a matter of an hour or less. It's like vacuuming that simple. One of my rooms was used for my pets so imagine the stains omg I wish I did a before and after that room looks like it has new carpeting. I absolutely love this machine well worth the money and would recommend it to anyone with carpeting!!!!!!

I just bought this carpet cleaner last night, ABSOLUTELY LOVE, LOVE, LOVE, IT!!! It does a fabulous job, extremely easy to use, assemble, & it is very easy to clean the the nozzle & brushes. The price is more reasonable than some of the other carpet cleaners out there especially for the convience of use. I highly recommend this carpet cleaner. Very impressed. Thank You Hoover!!!
