No need to mess with control of how much detergent to put down. Cleaner automatically cleans on the forward pass, and dries on the backward pass. No mixing of water with cleaning solution. Unit can also be run in DRY mode only as needed.Would have preferred automatic heating of the clean water.

I bought this machine three weeks ago. I have a large family room with light colored carpet. I was so in the mood to rip up the carpet and replace, but the cost of the new carpet was scary. I have now cleaned the entire room with my new machine and I am in love! No new carpet in my future.

I’ve had this for 6 months. I used it to move into a new apartment and it was used for occasional spills and messes from a toddler. About a month ago I noticed it was getting kind of Smoky with use. I tried to use it again last week with the windows open to see what was happening. My entire apartment was smoky within minutes and I noticed the silver plate at the bottom the plastic has started to peel and warp. Something is wrong with the belt or motors and I’m currently trying to get the problem resolved with Hoover. Before all the problems it worked wonders and is easy to clean. But I’m not sure if it’s worth it if the occasional use breaks it in 6 months

I bought this a week ago and I love it. It is easy to use and it makes the carpet look like it was professionally cleaned. It dries fast. It is easy to release the nozzle to clean the cleaner brushes. It is easy to clean the stairs and upholstery. Best carpet cleaner I have used. The hose is long enough to do 10 stairs. Hoover did it right on making this carpet cleaner. We have 2 dogs and it really got the dirt and dog hair out of the carpet. Thank you Hoover.

I've had Hzooover carpet shampooers for 40 years. Each time I get a new one, they just keep getting better. This one is no exception. It is so easy to install the water vessel; it just slides into place....no hooks and bulk. Same for the detergent. It is very light weight but has a heavy duty clean.

Me and my girlfriend love it we used it the next day we got it we used it at my girlfriends house she hadn't shampoo the carpet in two years and we used it and we were amazed how good it was we did all the rooms plus the cleaners were fresh smelled thank you for making a machine that doesNt cost a professional to came in

We are really happy with this purchase. The machine works great. We were concerned that some machines leave Berber carpets too wet, because they don't enough of the cleaning solution and water back out of the carpet. But not so with this machine. We are actually amazed how well it works and how easy it is to use. Thank you for a great product!
