I ordered the Hoover Smartwash for my best friend for her Birthday, she has 4 dogs and a mini pot bellied pig that lives in the house, the all get up on her furniture and she needed a carpet cleaner with the upholstery attachments and I seen the informical on TV for the Smartwash and wanted to get her something different. The first one that was supposedly delivered never was so the company shipped me another and we used it on Wednesday on the couch and chair and I am very amazed at how great it cleaned the furniture. The couch and chair look brand new again, also cleaned the area rug and that looks better now than when it was brand new. Thank you Hoover for making a great carpet cleaner.

I bought this carpet cleaner about a month ago. It works great and lifts a lot of dirt out of our carpets!! We have 2 dogs (one being a potty training puppy) so this carpet cleaner is getting lots of use!! Love the way you can take the cleaner head apart and clean the wheels and head!! My only issue is that I find that it spits water out between the tower of the machine and the cleaner head, small openings on either side of cleaner head. That's the only draw back, I stuff rags in there so it doesn't spray on the walls or furniture.

I have a small dog who likes to dig in the dirt, and often tracks in a lot of dirt and mud. I'm also not great about removing my shoes in the house, so, my carpet was filthy. To the point where I couldn't walk on it in bare feet at all because the soles of my feet would turn black. My previous carpet cleaner really wasn't doing the trick to get out stains and deep set dirt. The SmartWash is a miracle worker!! This is the cleanest my carpets have probably been in years. It even removed old pet stains (from a previous tenant) that my old carpet cleaner didn't get rid of, even after pre-treating them. I'm a total believer. Worth every penny.

Purchased two weeks ago, used immediately. Very satisfied. So much easier to use than two older carpet cleaners I have had for years. Tanks are so much easier to remove from machine and clean, brushes a snap to remove and clean. Also used hose and stair unit to clean Upholstry chairs, and it did a wonderful job again. Light and easy to move around. I am going to purchase a second unit for second house.

Used it the day after I got it and I have a kitty who does hairballs and I kept spot cleaning after 7 years I decided to get the wash and dry machine and love,love it. It did every thing it was suppose to do. I love Hoover products I have a vacum cleaner to well worth the money and easy to put together and to clean afterwards I'm 79 years old and was easy to handel

I bought this carpet washer about two weeks ago and I am so glad I did. My home is mostly carpeted and I have pets. When we moved in I used a rental carpet cleaner, because the people before us had pets too. The carpets did not look or feel clean after I finished, but what could I do. I didn't want to rent it again. I noticed my very house broken dogs using certain parts of the rug to relieve themselves. Down on my hands and knees I would go to clean up the messes. The first time I used this machine. The water was completely black and the amount of pet hair (from previous tenants; who had a German Shepard, which had black hair. My dogs have white) was incredible. I had fist fulls of hair. I couldn't believe how much my very expensive vacuum was not getting up. The carpets looked so much better and felt so much softer. I waited a week and washed the carpets again and more dog hair (but not nearly as much). The dirty water was also not as black. The pet stains are completely gone and the carpets look brand new. My house smells great and my dogs have not had an accident or used the carpet as their potty pad since then. It is incredible and out of all my household cleaning equipment; this has became my most essential. I could not recommend this carpet washer enough. The best money I have spent.

I purchased March 1 and it was defective. It does not heat AT ALL! I cannot reach the call center (on hold 11 minutes in silence before hanging up)and email goes unanswered. Now I've paid $215 for a hoover smartwash that I cannot return or exchange. This feels shady to me & for that reason I would not purchase a hoover product again If you purchase hoover do so from a store where you can return or exchange in need be.

Love how it has a dry only button the floor is fully dry in 30 minutes to and hour!! I had some old stains and it got them up with no problem!! Only thing for me is I didn't get the hand held attachment with my hose. Box shows I should have gotten one but I didn't have it in the box. I just haven't contacted any one about it but idk if I will use it much!

I have had my Hoover carpet cleaner for 3 weeks now and it is by far the best I've ever tried!!! It was a little pricey but I have four dogs and three boys so I needed a good carpet cleaner that would get the job done and me not have to call a cleaner service to do so. Let me tell you, it was worth every single penny! And it's so simple. Just push to clean and pull back to dry!! And it dispenses the right amount of solution so no more measuring this or measuring that!

Wow! There are just so many features! I can now clean my floors with complete ease! I only need to move the cleaner back for drying, or forward for cleaning, and it automatically does all the work for you!! It also automatically mixes the cleaning solution so that it's mixes to perfection! Can I tell you the very best part? The auto drying! I have two kids and a final dog that love being all over the carpet! No time to wait for it to dry!!
