As always not disappointed. Hoover out did themselves. The carpet cleaner is not very heavy. It easily moves around on all different types of carpet. Love the fact it transitions from wet to dry so easily. Works wonders on my furniture also. So simple to put together and clean.

I bought this as a gift for my daughter a little over a month ago because she has a daughter who just turned two-years-old and is constantly playing on the floor. I am STILL getting photos sent to me of each room and hall in her home as she cleans them, LOL It is truly amazing what a wonderful job this machine does! The difference in the before and after pics was like night and day! She is VERY impressed! She also told me she is thinking about cleaning it all over a second time just to see if anything was left behind, lol. When you consider a 'professional' carpet cleaning company coming in, doing a so-so job, and charging $100 or more, this carpet cleaner is WELL worth the money spent! She can now clean her carpets at her convenience and get the immediate spills and spots up right away so they don't stain. She has told me it is SO easy to use and she absolutely LOVES it! Definitely THE best gift I've gotten her!

I've owned several carpet cleaners and this is the only one that has broken within the first year. I don't have much carpet so it's wasn't high utilized. The manual and online support is of no help. Good machine if you want to invest in a new one yearly.

I live in two homes and in my long life I have owned and used more than a handful of different carpet cleaners, including a couple of Hoovers. This one wins. Easy to use, works the best. Just as important, fantastic customer service. Like I said, I've experience with a number of cleaners, and there WILL be problems, though hopefully rarely. Hoover has always been available to troubleshoot and get me cleaning again! If you have a problem, call them. Love Hoover, love this machine.

This past November I had my carpets cleaned to get ready for Christmas, was a lot of money . So about 2 weeks ago I saw this machine on an info commercial and felt like I had nothing to loose and ordered it. Today was my first opportunity to try it out and I cannot believe the results. It really works!!! I mean my carpet that has a German Short Hair Pointer all over it, me and my two children tracking in everything imaginable from south Florida weather looks like the pros just left the house!! Oh I forgot to mention that I didn't have to move everything in the house either like I do when the other carpet cleaners come The carpet also had spot on it from the fireplace, no problem at all, gone without a trace. The cleaner worked so nicely with no mess at all I highly recommend

I have used many carpet cleaners. I clean homes and people have many different kinds and brands. Hoover Smart awash is the best one I have ever used and I've been doing this full time for 10 years. Stains are nothing for this cleaner. It laughs at them and makes them disappear. Easy to use. I can't say enough good things about this cleaner. If you want to know it's clean this is the one to use.

I purchased this machine in 2020. Used it once and thought it did a great job. About 6 months later, I attempted to use it again, and it would not dispense water or cleaning solution. I called Hoover and after troubleshooting, they agreed to send me a new machine. I received the new unit and used it to clean my carpets. 6 months later I again wanted to clean carpets and once again, the machine would not dispense any water or solution. Contacted customer support again, and they sent me my THIRD machine, which I received in May of 2022. I used it to clean carpets and stairs. Then put it away. It is not the middle of November 2022, 6 months later. I wanted to clean carpets for thanksgiving, took the machine out, and lo and behold, the third machine is now doing the same thing,...will not dispense any water or cleaning solution. I attempted to contact customer service. One page of the instruction book says they are open until 7pm EST, while another page says they are open until 6pm EST. Since it was only 4:30p EST, I should have had no problem getting through. However, the answering machine said the offices are open until 5pm EST, and even though it was only 4:30p, it said the offices are closed and to go online to chat with customer service until 7pm. So I went online, and the chat function says no agents are available and to look for other methods of contacting customer service. I previously had confidence in Hoover as a brand, but having gone through THREE machines that were used only once, plus the inability to reach customer service during normal business hours, either by phone or online chat, has totally reversed my feelings about the company and the products they provide. If you only plan to clean your carpets once, by all means, purchase this machine. Just be aware you will only get to use it once, and it will costs you $230 to do that one cleaning job. Cheaper to go outside and hire a professional to do it. I, on the other hand, will keep trying to reach customer service to obtain my FOURTH machine in 2 years.

I just finished cleaning 2 bedrooms, a runner rug and my shaggy area rug and I cannot say enough good things about this carpet cleaner. The setup out of the box was super simple and I got it running in minutes. So, I try to keep a clean home, I vacuum regularly and we try to take off our shoes but not always. Before starting I vacuumed like normal first and then did the SmartWash Carpet Cleaner. It comes with a smaller sized bottle of the shampoo and that stuff makes the carpet smell great and really helps pull up the dirt. After the first two rooms the tank was full of solid black water. I love the dry only feature as it really helps suck up a lot of the water and the carpets dried pretty well after a few hours. By the time I got to my shaggy rug I ran out of the solution so I could only clean that with the warm water. Still, the tank was full of dark brown water, so even without the solution it cleaned it a ton, but I do prefer using it. I took the brushes out and rinsed everything clean since it was so filthy inside and that was really easy to do. I have no need to call out professionals again because this works just perfect for my house.

This is our second hoover carpet cleaner. The first was the old style. We had it for two houses and more than 20 years. It worked great with no problems. We decided it was time to upgrade and boy did we. This new one is even better and so easy to use. It cleans great and is so easy to use it is very sturdy and the 3 canisters make it a breeze. Thanks for the great product.

I have dogs, a granddaughter and cream colored carpeting, so cleaning carpet is not some thing that's new to me. My previous cleaner of another brand just gave up mid-cleaning last night. I went to the store this morning and had planned to purchase a different Hoover model but when I saw the double scrubber brush bars on this one, I had high hopes and spent the extra money. But, it didn't do much to actually clean. After the first round, I could visually see where the old machine stopped and the new one continued, the latter area still a grey. The problem, as I evaluate it, is how little water is dispensed...even moving slowly (snails pace). There just has to be something wrong with this! I used less than a gallon of water on my carpet. That might sound great, but my living room has about 250-300 sq ft of carpet accessible/needing to be cleaned (center area of room-around the furniture). That's less than 1 tablespoon per square foot. In all fairness, I went over it two more times (the complete area) and it's better, but who wants to do the same area three times?! It's going back to the store!
