Title: Hoover Smart Wash - A Total Disappointment! Rating: 1/5 stars I'm extremely disappointed with my brand new Hoover Smart Wash. I took it out of the box, followed the instructions, and attempted to use it just once. Unfortunately, it didn't work at all. No water came out, and the machine didn't seem to be functioning properly. I was expecting a high-quality product, but this thing didn't even get the job done once. Given its poor performance right out of the box, I'm concerned about the build quality and durability of this product. As a brand new purchase, I expected it to work flawlessly, but it seems like I got a dud. I'm not sure if it's a manufacturing defect or a design flaw, but either way, I'm not impressed. The fact that it didn't work even once is frustrating, and I'm now left wondering if I should return it or try to get a replacement. If you're considering purchasing the Hoover Smart Wash, I'd advise you to think twice and maybe look into other options. Until Hoover proves otherwise, I'd say avoid this product. Maybe it's just a one-off issue, but based on my experience, I wouldn't take the risk.

We’ve owned a few carpet cleaners over the past 22 year’s, but this one by far has got to be THE BEST CARPET CLEANER we’ve ever owned. No guess work with the cleaning solution, or holding down a button to wash. It pulled up more dirty water than the other ones, making the carpet dry even faster. The rooms smell and look AMAZING! So happy I bought the Hoover Smart Wash Carpet Cleaner!!!

Of all the carpet cleaning machines I have owned, this is by far the best one. Here is what I like about it:\n*No trigger needed to hold for releasing liquid into the carpet-it does it automatically.\n*Lights that tell you when liquid is being releases and when it's not\n*Push forward and the unit releases water and the cleaning solution showing a green light,\n*Pull it back over the wet area and it sucks the it and the dirt into the holding tank showing a red light\n*Always being able to see the dirty water thru the clear plastic tube as you pull the unit back.\n*Easy clean up when done. Removing the plastic shield to remove dog hair is a breeze and the large brushes are easy to clean as well! Other units I've owned were difficult to clean.\n*This unit cleans the carpets with ease. \nOnly minor drawback: I wish the cord was a few feet longer, but that is really a non-issue.\nAll-in-all, I am very pleased and at $199 in May 2020, it's a bargain. I highly recommend it.

I read a lot of reviews on this product. It had a pretty high rating on consumer reports, so I went for it. My advice so far is to read the simple instructions. Keep your machine as clean and dry as possible. It takes quite a bit of work to clean it, but I can't imagine putting it away dirty and expecting the machine to last. A simple rinse and laying the parts out to dry is what the manual recommends. It easy to maneuver and does an excellent job cleaning. Depending on how dirty your carpet is, you will want to stop and clean out any debris midway through cleaning, even if the dirty tank isn't quite full. Drying the carpets goes much faster if you use the dry only mode until not much water is pulled up. I do wish the parts were made of sturdier plastic. It seems like some of the parts could easily break and don't quite fit snug together. It doesn't use a ton of cleaner. The sample it came with cleaned one bedroom and our living room.

I am a renter with dogs and let me tell you this carpet steamer is delightful. My dogs have had their share of accidents (of course on carpet) quite a few times. This has saved me from having to get on my hands and knees. I have added it to my weekly routine. I vacuum then steam my carpets and rugs every week.

I have very busy children and that spill everything from food to milk and juice on the carpet and this carpet cleaner along with the solution that I used that works with the cleaner brought my carpet back to life and the order that was on the carpet also lifted. This is a great investment to have especially if you have younger children as busy as mines.

My carpets have been brought back to new quality after just two uses of the Smartwash Automatic Carpet cleaner. The set up of the machine is easy, only took me a few minutes. The machine itself is a bit heavy, but is easy to maneuver. It has great reverse suction to help dry carpet, so if you have longer carpet, it won't take too long to dry.

I bought this machine in May 2023 in September 2023 I noticed that the water was pooling on the floor when I used it and it had a burning smell. As I was cleaning the machine I noticed that one of the rollers was melted on the end (the end that does not have the ball-bearing) I replaced that roller and made sure to clean that are of the main machine. Now Dec 2023 that new roller has done the same thing as the first time. This thine while cleaning the ball-bearing blue part has come off.

I have gone through 3 Bisell machines. All were problematical. After our last one stopped sucking water I vowed not to buy another one. I found that hoover does a poor job of guiding you to the right product. We don't have pets so pet hair is not an issue for us. I settled for a smartwash+ mainly because I didn't know what else to buy and the product was available locally. We are amazed at how much better it cleans and how easy it is to use compared to our " top of the line" Bisell cleaner. Our rugs look like they are new again and we couldn't be more pleased.

I recently cleaned my carpet with this mchone and was so impressed! This shampooer is heavy duty but light enough to maneuver easily. It has an amazing attachment hose with 2 types of scrubbers I found extremely useful and effective. The machine has a light to let you know when its washing vs drying as its automatic so you don't hold a button down for solution to spray. The ailutukb us separate from the water and I love the results from this!
