This is amazing and extremely easy to use! Suction is amazing and not having to trigger the water or cleaning agent makes it extremely easy to use. To guess work. You do have to keep it going forward for it to wash. I'd you go too slow it confuses it and starts drying. Once you get the rythmn of how fast/slow you need to go then it becomes easier so just be patient and figure out the speed that works for you.

We were due for a carpet cleaning when Covid lockdowns happened. We just had our carpets professionally cleaned less than a month ago. I was not happy with the results. We purchased the SmartWash+ and it arrived yesterday. I re-cleaned a 3' x 3' high traffic area that the professional cleaned. It is impossible for the carpet to have gotten as dirty as the water in the photos in less than a month with two people in our 2000 sq. ft. home. The SmartWash also picked up sudsy residue left behind by the professional. The machine is lightweight and easy to clean after using. I wonder if some of the bad reviews are because people do not read or follow directions. I owned another brand of carpet cleaner and I feel this one has a much better design for ease of use and care.

This is hands down the best purchase I've ever made. I'm on my 3rd puppy in 3 years (I know crazy but they're the best!) and this cleaner has saved my carpets. I just washed up puppy puke from the rug and I'm reminded, again, what a lifesaver this has been. My rugs are grateful, I'm grateful, the dogs are grateful. I can't overstate how consistently this cleaner has worked for the last 3 years. I should have written this review for the great poosplosion of 2023 but I was a bit preoccupied. I will never stop recommending this product. Thank you Hoover for saving my rugs and sanity!

I bought this because my previous Hoover was awesome and lasted me many cleanings. I have used this 3-4 times and it is already falling apart. The soap dispenser lid leaks constantly, and when I last cleaned my carpet there were hundreds of brush roller bristles in the dirty water compartment. What a piece of junk! If this is the best Hoover cleaner, I will be buying from another company.

This machine works amazing. It is lightweight, very easy to use and it does great job of pulling out loads of dirt. The quality is excellent and the design makes it simple to operate. I like the fact that this machine has powerful suction and I love the dry feature. Overall I am very satisfied with this machine and I highly recommend it.

We have a black lab, but she doesn't always go on the carpet of our home. She enjoys the outdoors, but that leads to paws that are aren't so clean. And, dogs dont really wipe thier feet like we do. She has left some not flattering stains on the floor. And, when I tried scrubbing it myself it became an even bigger mess. It's as if the mess just spread then disappeared so this has been a miracle to our house! It took the stain out and no odor either of a dog which is nice. It's as if I have new carpets.

I want to start off by saying... I've been spending way too much over the years renting a carpet cleaner. Every 4 months we do a full carpet clean as well as furniture. With animals and lots of carpet, it is necessary. Thankfully, I chose the right brand! I used the smart wash for the first time and man! That was the easiest time I've had. The carpet cleans exceptionally well, and it also dries up the water just as good. Manueverability is excellent. It isn't terribly heavy like those you rent, and moving it around the house, doing the stairs and other essentials, was a breeze. I think personally, this brand, this functionality, at this price point... Is extremely hard to beat! The engineering and quality, as well as the easy to clean/use is superb. I look forward to many more cleanings thanks to the Smart Wash. I wish I took before/after photos to show the excellent cleaning abilities, but I was too interested in trying out the new toy!

I have dogs, a granddaughter and cream colored carpeting, so cleaning carpet is not some thing that's new to me. My previous cleaner of another brand just gave up mid-cleaning last night. I went to the store this morning and had planned to purchase a different Hoover model but when I saw the double scrubber brush bars on this one, I had high hopes and spent the extra money. But, it didn't do much to actually clean. After the first round, I could visually see where the old machine stopped and the new one continued, the latter area still a grey. The problem, as I evaluate it, is how little water is dispensed...even moving slowly (snails pace). There just has to be something wrong with this! I used less than a gallon of water on my carpet. That might sound great, but my living room has about 250-300 sq ft of carpet accessible/needing to be cleaned (center area of room-around the furniture). That's less than 1 tablespoon per square foot. In all fairness, I went over it two more times (the complete area) and it's better, but who wants to do the same area three times?! It's going back to the store!

I recently cleaned my carpet with this mchone and was so impressed! This shampooer is heavy duty but light enough to maneuver easily. It has an amazing attachment hose with 2 types of scrubbers I found extremely useful and effective. The machine has a light to let you know when its washing vs drying as its automatic so you don't hold a button down for solution to spray. The ailutukb us separate from the water and I love the results from this!

I have owned carpet cleaners for years bother Hoover and BISSELL. What I like about this is the brush roll and that it's SUPER easy to clean. I like the large opening on the dirty water reservoir to dump and clean it without getting dirty dog water all over me. What I hate is that there's no trigger on this to control where the cleaner goes, I realize that's the feature of the machine. Sometimes, there's an area on the floor that needs extra cleaner. This machine has no control for that, not even a shot button for extra cleaner. I would not recommend this for people with pets. As soon as Hoover makes a model with this super awesome brush roll set up, the large opening on the for dirty water tank for dumping, separate water and cleaning solution reservoirs, AND a cleaning solution trigger I would instantly purchase. I do like the dry only button. For now, I have to keep a spray bottle with water/cleaning solution to spray areas that need extra cleaning. I also think a rinse only option would be great. The old spin scrubs had that and it was awesome! But the brushes on those were very difficult clean. I give this a B-. Close to perfect but not quite. Fix not being able to control the cleaning solution dispersal and you have a winner.
