I wasn't searching for a dash cam, but when I saw this one on sale for $69 and reading numerous positive reviews, I thought "why not". It was super easy to install and having the OBD kit was great. It is basic to operate and the app is easy to navigate. Had I not bought the last one at the store, I would have bought a couple for my kids. Great purchase

The video quality of the camera is great. It’s crystal clear. Unfortunately the app is garbage and you need it to change settings and download video from the camera. It took me 10 minutes to download a single video from the camera because the WiFi network on the camera wouldn’t connect. Additionally, all settings are controlled via the app too. I will be returning this.

Interesting small design for a 4 k dash cam. Found the actual installation printed instructions slightly different from the printed version. A standard USB-C cable does not work , seems to only work with the included cable. App seems to work well time will tell.

Once I figured out the SC4KS does not have a menu or a button to turn on wifi (like the app indicates) I was able to connect an access the videos. Installation was relatively easy as I already had a USB connection in the overhead console so routing wires to the OBD2 port was not necessary. So far so good.

I’m super impressed with the Rexing Ultra HD Dash Cam! The 4K video quality is crystal clear, and the wide 170° lens captures everything on the road. The fact that it comes with an OBD smart hardwire kit and a 32GB memory card included is a huge bonus, especially for the price; it's hard to beat. Setup was easy, and the Wi-Fi app makes it simple to view and download footage. Great performance and features without breaking the bank!

Thus was the first time I've bought a dashcam that included everything I needed to install, including a memory card and 2 options for power (obd port or cigarette lighter). This is also the 2nd Rexing brand dashcam I've bought. My old one is still super reliable after 4 years and counting and have been in 2 of my cars now so this is definitely a reputable brand. The image quality is great even at night. I like how discreet this one is. I have it mounted right behind my rearview mirror so i dont see it when driving. Its small enough that the passenger barely sees it as well. It sticks on with a strong, small double sided adhesive, and can be unclipped from the adhesive mount if needed. The only thing to watch out for is that you can't adjust the left and right side view once it's mounted so make sure you plug it in while installing to ensure everything is straight and level before the position is fixed. You are able to adjust up and down but that is it. Overall, I highly recommend this one if you are looking for a no hassle, straightforward, set it and forget it type of camera. Even with tucking in the wires, it only took me about 15mins to get it up and running.

This new Rexing dashcam is tiny and super easy to install. The mount is straight forward and it can be powered by the included 12v cigarette lighter cord or mine worked with an existing usb-C cord I had. The device has only a single button to wake/lock the current recording clip, so the app connection is helpful for changing settings. It is also very straight forward to review and save clips to your phone over the Rexing connect app (that’s where I save some of these review pictures from). The camera handles bright and shaded contrast very well and has a good color balance in its recordings. One note and seemingly the only downside to this camera: the video resolution is indeed 3840 x 2160, which makes it true 4k, but there is some noticeable noise in the resulting images and video when you zoom in. When stationary and when moving it is difficult to make out license plate numbers that are farther than ~30 feet away. The contrast and image looks great but the small details are lost in the recording.
