For the price it is a really good deal. It does everything I need. I decided to use a 10ft USB connector cable instead of either the OBD kit or the cigarette plug adapter that comes with it, because I wanted to potentially plug in both a front and rear camera eventually. The app is pretty convenient once you set up the Wi-Fi connection the dash cam gives off with your phone. The 32gig SD card that comes with it holds about 6 hours of loops, which is definitely enough to get by. I chose to turn the collision detection sensitivity lower than the default setting though, because it kept "locking" videos when I went over significant bumps and when my windshield wiper blades squeaked... But that was a pretty easy fix. I was a little worried that I couldn't remove those locked videos from my phone over the app, but it turns out that it is actually really easy to do on computer. I have an SD card reader USB stick that I plugged the SD card into and it was super easy to just delete the files in the "Locked Videos" file on my computer. All that said, I was really happy I had the dash cam the day I had a car full of criminally minded people pull a U turn after pulling past my car when I had just walked across the street to make a delivery. I saw them peel out when I turned around after making the delivery, then checked the dash cam video and I could see them doing the U turn and pulling up in the oncoming lane of traffic. Sadly, because it was at night, I couldn't make out the License plate and it didn't provide direct evidence of their clear intent to try to steal the vehicle. Likewise, they did not break in or anything, so the police didn't want it. But still, it was very reassuring to know I had the video of it.

A good value, package includes everything you need. Simply locate it behind your mirror, run the power wire around and to you OBD port and plug in. Phone app is easy to use, quick link to camera and your good to go. A

This dash cam is easy to set up and works really well. The video quality is excellent, Wi-Fi is super fast with 5G, and it even comes with a memory card and an OBD hardwire kit. For only $99, it’s a great value and it keeps recording even when the car is parked.

I owned other Rexing Dashcams, and this one has been my favorite so far. The biggest reason is that the form is very compact, as you can see from the photo, it's not bulky nor larger than my hand. The updated WIFI chip in the dash works really well with the app, making the process of downloading the videos super quick. It's also really convenient that they provide an obd charger for continuous use after the car is off. Would recommend!

I’ve been using the previous 1080p model for 3 years now and when I read that they have the 4k model with OBD, I had to try it. First of all, it is very compact and sits perfectly behind my rearview mirror. I don’t even see it. Wifi/app connection is as simple as it gets as usual. All your settings, vidoes etc are easily accessible through the app. The box comes with everything you need. I highly suggest using the OBD so you don’t see the bulkier lighter power adapter in your console with the cable. Make sure you clean the windshield thoroughly before you apply stickers and electrostatic sticker. OBD is working great. I have been using it for a week now and everything seems great. I will update the review if something comes up but so far it’s really good.

I was looking for a dash cam, saw this one and thought I would give it a shot. I am so glad I did. This is an extremely easy dash cam to set up and use. I am not very technical and even I found this easy to install, set up and use. The instructions are easy to understand. It is very compact in size, so I was able to hide it behind my rearview mirror and it has not altered my views at all. It also records in very high quality. It comes with a hardwire cord and to my surprise a regular cigarette outlet power cord too! I used the regular one and it has plenty of cord to use and it even came with a tool to hide it under the trim which was simple. It mounts to the windshield with a 3M double sided sticky pad and it has stayed put thus far. The mount can be moved in a up and down direction, so the view can be perfect. I downloaded the app and my cell phone was able to connect to the Wi-Fi the camera has without issue and was able to view and download if I wanted the videos. They loaded quickly. It also comes with the SD Card included and it worked like a charm. There is only one button on it, so it's so easy to use and less confusing than others. Last but not least, this also records sound too, so when my child mermers something and then tells me they didn't say anything I will have proof to punish them.

I bought this car dash cam because I commute to work two hours per day for five days a week. I drive in a lot of traffic. I wanted the dash cam to record my travel to and from work.

Purchase went smoothly at Sam’s. I’m still hooking it up. Trying to figure out the OBD2 connection. Mainly the vibration sensor. Instructions say to mount it on the windshield but there isn’t enough wire. Instructions could be better and the little 3 minute installation video was lame. I decided to register the SC4KS because they offered a free gift.

Pro: 1. 18-month warranty if you register your dashcam 2. Very clear 4K 30fps H265 video, bit rate averages around 28Mbps depending on contents 3. Has wide viewing angle 4. Super capacitor for hot climate area 5. Rich accessories, including extra sticky pad, wire clips, trim tool, even OBD kit and a 32GB microSD card Con: 1. No USB charging port on the cigarette lighter power adapter 2. Non-touch small 1.5" screen is not much useful 3. App looks primitive and is buggy. It often freezes or hang. If you go back one step, you have to reconnect to the camera. There is no setting to update dashcam firmware in the app. I would give the dashcam a 5 star, but the bad app really drags down rating

I was unable to download the app on my phone, computer or tablet. From the play store or directly to the company's website. The cameras themselves would only loop record for 60 seconds and start a new recording. I checked the SD card on my devices. I was unable to open the files.
