I've owned a few Rexing Cameras so have had experience with them. Installed this unit it my retired sister's car because she wanted some protection. She is older so we wanted straight-forward and easy for her to operate. This unit is it. No fancy options, just works. Even comes with an obd cable to hook directly to your car without having to go to engine fusebox, for constant monitoring.

The Rexing SC4K is a solid dash cam. The video quality is super clear, even at night, and the wide angle covers a lot of the road. Setup was pretty easy, and having WIRING KIT IS is a nice bonus. The app can be a little frustrating at times, but once it's running, it does the job. Overall, it feels like a dependable dash cam that's worth the price.

This new Rexing dashcam is tiny and super easy to install. The mount is straight forward and it can be powered by the included 12v cigarette lighter cord or mine worked with an existing usb-C cord I had. The device has only a single button to wake/lock the current recording clip, so the app connection is helpful for changing settings. It is also very straight forward to review and save clips to your phone over the Rexing connect app (that's where I save some of these review pictures from). The camera handles bright and shaded contrast very well and has a good color balance in its recordings. One note and seemingly the only downside to this camera: the video resolution is indeed 3840 x 2160, which makes it true 4k, but there is some noticeable noise in the resulting images and video when you zoom in. When stationary and when moving it is difficult to make out license plate numbers that are farther than ~30 feet away. The contrast and image looks great but the small details are lost in the recording.

This is my 4th Rexing dashcam and this new model did impress me again. The compactness of the dashcam is perfect for compact cars like my Honda HRV and the 4k camera recording is pretty sharp. It also includes a hardwire kit which saves you money and is very handy when the are is parked. One drawback I found was absence of a rear camera but most of the time, you need front footage and being 170° wide, it covers a lot of view. The installation is quite easy and the included hardwire cable and 32GB card ensures you don't spend additional money.

It was easy to set up and the WiFi access worked fine. Picture is very clear. I did not use the OBD parking feature or cable as I don't think it will work for me and I don't want to drain the battery. They need to come up with other than the 12v cigarette plug connector.

The footage looks fantastic on the wi-fi playback. ​However, the true standout feature is the night vision. It is genuinely next-level—everything is so bright and clear, it almost feels like daylight, removing all the usual grainy darkness you get with other cameras. ​Finally, the wi-fi connectivity is quick and painless. It connects to my phone instantly, making it incredibly simple to pull up and download critical clips without having to mess with an SD card. This dashcam is very comparable and in some aspects even better than the dashcam I recently purchased for another vehicle of mine that cost over twice the cost of this! I highly recommend for the quality features and excellent price!

I bought this Rexing Ultra HD dash cam to replace my old 1080p model, and the difference is night and day. I was unable to download the app on my phone, computer or tablet. From the play store or directly to the company's website. The cameras themselves would only loop record for 60 seconds and start a new recording. I checked the SD card on my devices. I was unable to open the files.
