Not only are these tasty enough that my dog thinks she's getting a treat, but they work! My dog has a lot of allergies and most we can avoid. However, it is very difficult to avoid grass. Since she is rather low to the ground, her tummy is often in the grass and the irritation causes her belly fur to fall out. For the first time in the six years I've had her, her belly fur is actually growing back! Her belly and paws are much less red and irritated and her eye boogers have decreased. I bought this product for my dog that constantly bites his paws. He's been taking the chews for three weeks now but I haven't seen any improvement as he still bites his paws every single day. My dog weighs 11 lbs and I give him half a chew a day. I'm gonna try and give him a whole chew a day and see if he improves within the next few weeks. He definitely loves the peanut butter flavor though!

I use these bites for my dog, Charlie, during the active grass growing season. Late winter through early summer I would find him licking his paws quite excessively. I was worried he would develop hot spots or worse, so I took him to the vet to see what could be done. Her diagnosis was he is allergic to the new grass spores, and to wipe him down and clean his feet with hypoallergenic wipes after coming in from being outside, and then to use the occasional Benadryl on days that seemed particularly bad. Charlie is a 20lb, 9 year old Schnoodle and I didn't like giving him Benadryl; it would sedate his fun loving personality and make him constipated. We are already a Zesty Paws loving house, so when I found these bites, I was quick to purchase and incorporate them into his "vitamin" routine. He loves them! (Of course :) and they work! The licking has diminished but his happy personality and daily bathroom habits aren't interrupted by the heavy medication of Benadryl. He gets one Aller-Immune Bite every morning and his paws and I are happy for it :)

I purchased these for my two medium sized dogs. We initially gave them twice a day, but slowly worked down to once a day, and then once every other day to help control some of their itching. It's a great addition to the natural dog food we use, they love the taste, and they're the perfect size for our two dogs.
