We have been using cast iron skillets for years because we did not believe there was quality nonstick cookware available. Previous nonstick cookware that we had used would lose it’s nonstick coating too easily. My wife and I are both near 70 years of age and the cast iron was getting too heavy for us to handle easily. We are impressed with the feel of quality of the Valencia line of Greenpan cookware. The ability to be used with all types of cooking surfaces was one of the factors in making our purchase; gas, electric and convection. We are looking forward to using our cookware for all the types of traditional dishes that we prepared for our children through the decades. The easy clean up of the nonstick surface makes us want to explore new recipes, especially the cheesy recipes. We are glad that we found this quality cookware.

I was shocked at how well this thing worked. The first time I used this pan, I forgot to clean it right after dinner. When I looked at it the next morning I was sure it was not going to come clean. I ran hot water over it and the dried, cooked on mess practically wiped right off. This thing has continued to work great. It does not matter what it is, I haven't found anything that sticks to this pan.

It’s nonstick surface makes cooking easy, even eggs don’t stick to it, and makes washing it super easy. It heats food evenly and is quickly becoming my favorite pan to use to cook dinner. It’s large enough for me to prepare my one-pan meals and the induction bottom ensures that food is cooked evenly. The nonstick feature is awesome, as I’ve cooked eggs, cheese, vegetables and more without a problem. Another pro for me is that even though it’s nonstick, you can use metal utensils with it. Additionally, cleanup is a breeze since food doesn’t stick to the pan. A minor drawback is that use of cooking sprays is not advised as they can effect the coating. I regularly use cooking sprays but have no issue with switching to oil or butter while using this pan. Overall, I love this pan and highly recommend it.

The non-stick technology is labeled as healthy and the packaging features fruits, so the pan seems to be catered towards those looking to add healthier options via food and cookware to their kitchens. Despite this, the first time I used the pan, I guiltily fried jalapeno poppers because, frankly, I loved fried food. I barely used any oil, which is fantastic because I wanted to cut down on butter and oil. The pan heated quickly and cooked evenly. There wasn’t a single jalapeno popper left uncooked. This pan heats up so well, that you really need to be mindful of the time you’re cooking your meals. The cleanup was also ridiculously easy, just be warned the instructions recommended hand washing to maintain the coating, so don’t over scrub, there’s no need. I also used this pan for veggie burgers and home fries with great results.

The cooking service is so smooth and it cannot be scratched with anything we tried. I will definitely be interested in an entire set of this particular type of pan. I would recommend this to anyone and I would purchase in the future. My daughter actually wants to learn how to cook in this pan which is a plus.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] All of my pans are scratched and beaten up, so it was time for a new one. What attracted me to this one is the healthy nonstick coating. As a mom and a constant worrier, I worry about what chemicals go into my familes bodies. This makes me worry a little less. The nonstick works pretty well, too! I cooked chorizo and eggs without an oil or butter and nothing stuck to the pan. The size of this pan is great for cooking family meals. It seems like a very well made pan. The only thing I don't like is it isn't dishwasher safe.

But am finding that every one of its features is incredible. It is super durable. I do not have to worry about my kids accidentally scratching the pan since it is scratch resistant and trust me we have put it to the test. It does not scratch. I love that it is a bit deeper than most pans its size, making it easy to cook anything I want in it. I have used it to cook so many things and find it cooks everything amazingly well.
