Wonderful bar soap

I tried the Dial Spring Water scented bar soap, and while it cleaned my skin well, I did not really like the smell. The scent was stronger than I expected and did not feel as fresh or light as I thought it would. The soap itself lathered nicely and felt easy to use, but the fragrance made me not want to keep using it. I think this product could be better for someone who likes a stronger clean scent.

Growing up, gold Dial soap was the "gold standard" (no pun intended!) for cleaning oneself up after any kind of messy job, especially a dirty, smelly one. My dad worked manual labor his whole life, so a bar of gold Dial was a fixture in the shower. As an adult, I've occasionally been prompted to use Dial before a medical procedure but haven't otherwise purchased it since. Dial Refresh & Renew is not the Dial soap of my childhood! It has all of the same cleaning power and antibacterial properties, but the fragrance is a huge upgrade! It smells like an expensive body wash rather than the fairly neutral scent I'm accustomed to. It doesn't irritate my sensitive skin, and I feel clean afterwards. Though I did need to use moisturizer on my skin after washing, it didn't feel harsh or overly drying. I'm pleased with this product.
