Get this washer before it sells out because this thing is magnificent. I wish I had the setup for two or three more of these because I can't believe the excellent quality and low price of this washer. After going through a $1200 Maytag that would go off balance frequently and then had problems with the start button not working, I bought a no frills GE. That one came defective and left all my clothes stained with fabric softener in every cycle. I was about to loose my sheet when I came upon this beauty on sale for less than half the Maytag. I was not expecting it to look and act way better than the pictures. I was not expecting it to be this quiet. I was not expecting it to perform better than my friend's speed queen and yet, it surpassed ALL my expectations. It is beautifully designed, sturdy, heavy, and just watching it work is art. It's so good, that I ran the initial test using 6 pounds of laundry as instructed and setting it on rinse and spin and my clothes were already way cleaner without any soap!!! The delivery was also smooth and timely. Set up was not included but they placed in the laundry room. Connection was easy we just replaced the included filters onto the hoses where the faucets connect. It comes with a water drain hose and guide but we didn't need the guide. Overall, this washer is one of the best I've had in my life!

Oh my God this machine is great , I love it

Makes an awful noise starting with the first use

We had to replace a couple year old hotpoint washer with this one. Let me just say- I now realize that the hot point was NOT cleaning my clothes well… which is what I suspected but couldn’t prove until we washed just one load in this baby. Woooweeee Batman! This thing cleans! I love that it spins the drum as it fills up to equally soak all the clothes. Then it cleans so well and seems to use the right amount of water (which our other one barely used any and hence why the clothes never felt truly clean), and gets the job done. My only cons are : I don’t believe I can soak clothes like in the older style washers. The many electrical components make me question its longevity as well.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Pros: similar to 4.5 cu ft model, polished appearance, smooth dials, clear display, solid build, appreciated top loader with a with transparent top, good height. Cons: flimsy detergent drawer, beeping when changing settings, might be beneficial to as a setting option to chose your own time for extra rinse. If same price I would prefer 4.5cu ft with the added impellers

I'm not sure how I feel about the little drawer for the detergent. Mainly because it's different than I'm used to but I would probably accustomed to it

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I like the overall size of this unit. It can fit a lot of laundry and getting a load fully cleaned in 30 minutes is very helpful. While 800 is a little steep it does feel appropriately priced for what you get.

Not sure how clear top holds up to scratches. Like quick clean. No steam. Good price range. What is warranty and parts availability for repair? Harder on clothes but may clean better than impeller model. Need comparison
