Well, worth the money the drum is huge. There are a couple of things that I don't like. I wish the panel to set your watch was a little clear well, worth the money the drum is huge. Get this washer before it sells out because this thing is magnificent. I wish I had the setup for two or three more of these because I can't believe the excellent quality and low price of this washer. After going through a $1200 Maytag that would go off balance frequently and then had problems with the start button not working, I bought a no frills GE. That one came defective and left all my clothes stained with fabric softener in every cycle. I was about to loose my sheet when I came upon this beauty on sale for less than half the Maytag. I was not expecting it to look and act way better than the pictures. I was not expecting it to be this quiet. I was not expecting it to perform better than my friend's speed queen and yet, it surpassed ALL my expectations. It is beautifully designed, sturdy, heavy, and just watching it work is art. It's so good, that I ran the initial test using 6 pounds of laundry as instructed and setting it on rinse and spin and my clothes were already way cleaner without any soap!!! The delivery was also smooth and timely. Set up was not included but they placed in the laundry room. Connection was easy we just replaced the included filters onto the hoses where the faucets connect. It comes with a water drain hose and guide but we didn't need the guide. Overall, this washer is one of the best I've had in my life!

controlls confusing to understand. wash would start without water.water level is not understood when turn the dial to a specified wash cycle. the machine already has a set program i do not like that. i like to controll that feature. it is frustrating when it takes 1 hour plus to wash clothes. most of the time i have to push extra fill. spin cycle is very stable. the washing machine is quiet. maybe in time i will learn more reading the manual how to use. of couse its your preferences to washer you buy. everyone has specific needs on washing clothing.

It does the job. My clothes are lightly soiled. so I don’t know if washing machine would clean heavy solid clothes good. (Kids play clothes…) Agitator doesn’t have the power of older washing machines. I found see-through lid totally useless. It fog up immediately and got water drop on it so you can’t see inside at all. This design idea is bad and I feel is done to make washing machine cheaply. (Using less plastic/metal…Glass is probably cheaper material.) I use to put my basket on top of glasses-less washing machine lids but don’t trust the strength of the glass lid on this one. Computerized controls sucks. You have to make sure your selection is correct before starting. CAN’T change water temperature and level after wash is started as well as other functions. ‘Auto fill’ a joke don’t even bother using this. It spin clothes first and moves them to one side of drum. I’m 4’11 drum capacity is deep so I have to use a grabber (BBQ tongs does the job) to get small items from bottom of drum. Older model washing machine definitely better.

This machine is replacing the cheapest Kenmore washer I could buy in 2016, which lasted with zero problems or issues at all until the beginning of 2026. I thought this would be an upgrade, but it constantly gets off balance before it starts the spin cycle. Yes, the machine itself is level, and no I am not overloading it. I am currently washing 2 twin fitted sheets, 2 pillow cases, and 2 lightweight full-size blankets. It goes way off balance during the spin cycle. I took everything out, even wringing out as much water as I could, and reloaded it. You get three tries to balance it before it reloads the whole thing with water and tries again. This thing has a real problem with anything remotely heavy. I have to manually balance any bedding, towels, or my husband's clothes. It likes my clothes, kitchen towels, and my kids clothes. I don't understand the point of having a large tub if you cannot actually use it properly. My other issue with it is that it does not have a separate spin cycle. There is only a rinse and spin cycle. If I am trying to get water out of something, the last thing I want to do is get it soaking wet again. It makes no sense. I only bought from Sam's Club because they have a better return policy than the 3 days other big-box stores give you.

I bought this washing machine and had it delivered April 2nd 2026 and it has not worked one time. I am now having the headache of figuring out the extended warranty etc while having to use the laundromat still! The problem has to do with the water inlet not pulling water into the tub but, the dryer is real nice

Kenmore 4.4 cu. ft. Top Load Washer w/ Agitator - If the water pressure is too low, the machine shuts off! We are apparently right on the water pressure borderline because sometimes it completes a cycle, and sometimes it doesn't! We called the Kenmore Service Center, and they shoved their hands in their pockets and said, "Sorry, but we can't help you." DUH! All they have to do is get rid of the stupid low-water-pressure parameter (or provide a setting on the machine that allows for low water pressure) ... who cares if it takes 30 minutes to fill the machine with water as long as it washes the clothes! I can't do it because it's electronically programmed into the system, but surely there is someone at Kenmore that knows something about programming! They get a one-star rating due to ignorance of rural areas that do not always have adequate water pressure.
