The little car sits in a very stable track at the top of the platform, and runs way beyond where the tracks end so plan on it. Parents were startled at how quickly their 3 year old took to this toy - no learning at all. One ride down the ramp, and that car was on it's way back up. Just for safety sake, I'd have them wear a helmet, but you'd have to get pretty silly to fall off of this thing. I haven't heard laughs like that out of that child before - GREAT hit.

This is a great toy for siblings. I am an aunt to twins and this was a great gift. It promotes sharing, exercise, and safety. The girls are 4 years old and understand they must have their helmet on prior to playing on it. It is a gift to be enjoyed for years, not days.

I bought this for my 2 1/2 year old son and my 6 year old niece. They both love it!! Because of the way that it is built (stairs going up the center), my son is able to push the car back to the top all by himself. The wheels of the car get stuck in a "rut" at the top so that the child is able to climb in/on without it rolling back down and over the top of them. As most 2 year olds, my son is learning to share. This has been a great way for him to learn about taking turns and sharing. I think this product is a great way to have lots of outdoor fun. And because of Step2 products having such a high durability rating, I think this product is going to be around in our family for future children. I got this for my grandsons for Christmas--they love it !!! the one year old cannot climb the steps to load himself yet--but makes sure his brother loads him so he gets plenty of turns. the 4 year old dare devil does not hold on and has even gone down backwards. Very safe toy that will provide hours of excercise and amusement.

I have a playgraound in my back yard for the grandkids I had to purchase 2 because there was always a line to get on-everyone enjoys the coaster, grandkids, neighbors and friends children. This last coaster ordered (#3) waspurchased for one of my grandsdaughter's christmasthey wanted one for their house! GREAT INVESTMENT!It never seems to get old.

My son uses the smaller version at school and loves it so we got him the bigger version for his 4th birthday. He loves this bigger version too! It's easy for him get the car up the track and he tries to see how far he can get the car to go each time. It's great exercise!

We bought this coaster to have a toy at our house for our grandchildren to play with. We also have a playhouse and sandbox, but this product is by far been used the most. Over time, our grandchildren have become bored with other toys-but not this one. We have had it for 4 years, and they still love it. It is great for all ages too. As babies, we placed them in the car. As they got older, they have learned to push it up themselves. The exercise they get is an added bonus. Even our 6 and 7 year old grandchildren love it, although they are a little big for the car. You will not be wasting your money when you purchase this product. At Halloween this year, we had trick or treaters who wanted to ride the coaster instead of getting candy.

I have 5 children and they LOVE this coaster. I have to make them come inside ever since we got it! My husband is deployed to Iraq and I had to put this together myself. But it was very simple and had easy to follow directions. I am a certified welder so the fact that there were no guide holes for some of the screws as some people before me stated, really didn't bother me at all.It is very sturdy and a ton of fun!

The extreme coaster has been a huge hit around our house. It has provided added entertainment to our pool parties this summer. The kids cannot get enough of this toy! Parents cannot get their kids away from the coaster. They tell them "only five more minutes of riding." Five minutes later you hear "okay, five more minutes and we have to leave."

I bought this for my nephew and he loves it. To be honest, I'm a bit jealous because I wish we had cool toys like this when I was growing up. The coaster is very sturdy and easy to use. It's always a big hit amongst the cousins during family gatherings so we would recommend it to anyone!
