Great seat but base in explorer wasn’t securely snug so we returned it. Purchased a different model and works perfect!

Seat had sharp edges where seatbelt routes. I cut my hands trying to install it and I was concerned it would fray the seatbelt. Returned seat.

Listen to the reviews. It may be good for front facing but rear facing is impossible to get a secure fit. I returned it.
