my husband and i have tried every way it show to put this car seat in the car and it just doesn't seem to strap down tight enough. It says the top should not move more than 1-2 inches and I feel like if we pushed it, it would just fling off. I'm not sure if this is user error or what but we've tried both ways and it still just doesn't make me feel like it's very secure and safe... Please help if you have any tips...

It's built well. I did have an issue with it being delivered in an open box with no plastic protection so it got wet in the rain. So it would probably be better as a pick up item. When it's in rear facing, it tips over. (I have a 2019 Ford fiesta) and I've seen other people write the same thing. I'm going to continue to try and fiddle with it to get it to stay, but as of now it's probably just best as forward facing. It's very nice to look at and it's soft material.

Would not secure properly in either of our vehicles in rear facing, the cushions on the straps were unusable when straps were tightened and chest clip was in proper position, if you can afford something else please don’t buy this, we immediately returned them.
