I will forever miss the AfterShokz Titanium bone conduction headset. That was the best product they had. Since their replacement for that (the OpenMove) wasn't as good, I decided to try these OpenFit Air, which are NOT bone conduction. I was pleased with how the OpenFit Air sounded. Nice bass for my music, without even turning on the bass boost. Also, these sync up nicely with my laptop for when I watch streaming tv/movies. Unlike another set of earbuds I tried from another brand, these keep up so the sound matches the lips moving. They are mostly comfortable (never had a headset that had two pieces, and that go around the ear like these do), and only my right ear has a little spot on it that hurts a bit (but that's MY ear, which does that no matter what I wear) when wearing these. I do NOT like, however, that these lose connection to my laptop or phone a lot sooner than the Titanium and OpenMove did. With those two bone conduction sets, I could walk out my back door and go almost all the way to the outer edge of my back yard before they would start to lose connection. These OpenFit Air start to lose connection just 10 feet out my back door. Not that big of a deal, I don't go outside with them on intentionally, I just don't have time to remove them when the dog starts dancing at the door asking me to take him out. I have never used any of my headsets to make or take phone calls, so I cannot comment/rate that part of them ( I don't know if those functions work or not).

I do like these headphones, but I wish the sound got a little louder. I am completely deaf in my left ear so I use only the right headphone. For the most part, all the sound will come through one side but sometimes it's too quiet even at max volume or it cuts out a bit like it's trying operate in stereo and send some of the sound to the left bud. You can customize the touch settings but it is limited. I wish it had more freedom to change the settings there. Previously I used a pair of bone conduction headphones and those worked better sound wise, but the multi-point pairing was glitchy and the comfortability wasn't as good. I wish Shokz could merge the good things about both units and make them amazing, especially if it could work in single ear bud mode.

These work perfectly for me for several reasons. Super comfy so I can wear for hours with no ear discomfort. When I receive a call, people tell me they hear me loud and clear (very important to me) AND having them simultaneously paired with my phone and my laptop is awesome. Great job, Shokz!!

There's are great the sounds is awesome they fit comfortably I do wish they where adjustable my ears are shaped differently and it would be nice if the part that goes behind the ear could squeeze down on the ear. Besides that I love these I learned how to as translation tools for work great product.

These fit great and the sound quality is excellent. The only problem was that I couldn't hear anything from them while wearing hearing protection for mowing the lawn or at work. I had to return them and get a pair of open air headphones that actually sound better while wearing earplugs.

I liked everything about these when I tried them at home, pairing was easy enough, the sound quality was better than my current runners, the Aeropex, without the pressure from the band. The Openfit Air were comfortable, light, stayed in place and were sunglass friendly. The touch controls would skip a song, pause, or adjust the volume when I didn't want them to. On my first run, the controls went haywire as soon as I started sweating, and each side fought to adjust the volume continually until it got so loud I had to remove them. This happened repeatedly. I decided to send them back, and the return seemed easy enough. Maybe Shokz could make a version with real buttons. Luckily, I still enjoy my Aeropex even after three years. Thanks and good luck!

Out of the box, the fit was too loose over my ears. But once I learned that I could bend the wire inside to tighten the fit to my liking, they stopped rotating on my ear and stay still. Initially, the sound was tinny. I was hyperaware of the speakers being just outside of my ear and would not have considered them surround sound. In that sense, the bone induction headphones are more immersive and other speakers are higher quality than these. But I am not an audiophile. In fact, I barely listen to audiobooks and music at all. For those times I do listen to something, it is meant as a background sound while doing something else. These are great for that. I love the situational awareness these provide. And for my lifestyle, I prefer two seperable earbuds over one with a connecting bar in the back. Comfort is mostly good. My biggest complaint is the length of the speaker rectangle. My ears are small, and the end of the rectangle presses against the top of the floating-triangle-peninsula-flap part of my ear (excuse the nontechnical name). Maybe the other style of OpenFit are better for that? Otherwise, I wear glasses and they are a non-issue with those, and the material is silky soft. Controls are rudimentary and not to my liking, but they do the minimum they need to. No wireless charging, and I constantly switch which device I pair them to, which means *back in the case, long press both touchpads til the case LED blinks, then I can put them back on. * Fact check this, but I think the speaker for calls is only in the left earbud. 😬 And I thiiiink that if you swap from one to the other and put one back in the case, the call ends. Again, fact check me. All in all, nothing on the market now will do just what these will do, and so I will hold onto them and enjoy them. But I have high hopes that Shockz can flush out these details in future iterations (and let me beta test them?). They are a good quality company. My husband has the OpenRun and wears them for exercise, travel, and sometimes around the house.

They are indeed comfortable, very user-friendly, and the sound does come through; however, I wish the grip was tighter around my ear so I would feel them bouncing whenever I run or when I'm doing any variation of ploy, jumps, or explosive exercises. Nonetheless, they are indeed good and worth the price for what they give, so I'd recommend them.

They stay in place well, sound is good. I'm still able to hear my surroundings without concerns. My biggest issue is the touch sensor. It's difficult at times to find the right spot to pause what you are listening too. But then randomly during running activities it'll the touch sensor will be triggered for no reason, which can be annoying especially if it's skipping to the next chapter or song. I'm not sure if I got a pair that js defective or this is all of them. I, also, own the OpenFit originals and have not had this issue with them.

The best thing about these headphones is that you can't even feel them once they are on. They are super comfortable sound is great and because they are not plugged into your ear you sometimes have a little difficult to hearing when there's a lot of traffic noise. But easily fixed by increasing the volume. It is not easy to take cell phone calls, have to to figure out which side to tap and how many taps and there's a very bad echo and I found difficulty with phone calls where the headphones transferred between music and hanging up on my caller. Overall, for the purpose of listening to music while exercising, while on a plane or just walking these are great. I also like being able to hear noise around me because I am often on the street so I feel bit safer with them. And … As I said, they are extremely comfortable.
