Excellent source of bioavailable Calcium and Vitamin C. Vitamin D3 is needed for the use of Calcium in bone.

It reasonably priced; but most important, it is very easy on stomach, and the Vitamin D3 and Zinc are additives that make the calcium absorb.

Citracal plus D3 is a critical part of my daily regime to keep my calcium levels where they need to be.

The pill is usually large and cannot swallow. I tried cutting in half but it is very scratchy when swallowed. I will return. Bayer does not include image of actual pill size as most on label. I now understand why.
