The pills are the size of a horse pill. I can hardly swallow them.

I have been taking 1200mg of Citracal for 25 years and it has helped to prevent my osteopenia from progessing. However, the 650mg tablet in this bottle need to be taken twice a day and I never remember to take pills more than once a day!!. I wish they carried the Citracal Slow Release, 1200mg tablets, which is the recommended way to take the1200mg needed to help build strong bones.

Dr. recommended and it has proven to be exactly as I was told, gentle on stomach and also according to blood work on calcium results. Truly a great deal for the larger size!

Contains titanium dioxide!!! This is allowed in supplements and foods even though it has been found to be cancer causing.

I ordered 4 bottles of Citracal Maximum but received 4 bottles of Citracal Maximum Plus instead. You should notify the buyer before making switch.

Even though this is a great price, they're really big pills. They are scored so that they can be cut but I'll choose another product.
