I purchased the Samsung U7900FD TV about six months ago. As a longtime fan of LG TVs, I was a bit skeptical at first—especially given the budget-friendly $350 price tag. However, its performance has exceeded my expectations. The TV offers a great range of features, including SmartThings app integration, excellent resolution, impressive brightness, and vivid colors. I love that I can easily operate it without a remote control. Additionally, Samsung provides constant security updates, giving me peace of mind, and the overall aesthetics of the TV are fantastic. I would highly recommend it.

The TV is OK, but the remote control could be a lot better as it has very limited buttons and functions. You can’t type in the TV channel you have to select from the TV Guide on the screen or press the up-and-down channel button. The apps on the TV such as YouTube and DIRECTV are a little slow and they are Not as easy to use versus using them on a phone or tablet.

I’m not going to lie it is a bit difficult to navigate at first but that might just be because I am used to Roku and google tvs. The remote is very responsive and unique.

I love my Samsung's TV! The picture quality is nice and crisp with bright colors and deep color contrast making movies and sports look excellent. The sound is clear and the smart functions are easy to use so I can stream all my favourite apps with ease. It was easy to set up and looks fantastic in my living room with its sleek appearance.
