Very satisfied.

The picture clarity is wonderful. However, I would have enjoyed a better speaker system. At times, depending on the channel, the sound had a bit of a "tinny" sound. The remote is very easy to use, not overloaded with buttons.

Best purchase ever!

It was a great purchase. This TV was my first TV and I absolutely love it! The colors are great. I can adjust the brightness very easily and it's really fast! I would buy more Samsung products for sure.

Clear picture

The picture is great and work best with a hard wire from my wifi router. The sound is great I love this TV but I wish I could find out how to turn off onscreen pop up notifications.

Good product.

It's a very good product. The only thing I find wrong with this product is that the volume quality is a bit low. Maybe they should install better speakers.

Love it!

I am highly satisfied with this product. My mother also owns the 65-inch model and shares the same positive sentiment. While a larger remote control would be a minor improvement, it does not diminish the exceptional quality of the television itself.

I love my Samsung

The picture is vibrant and realistic and the Samsung sound bar and subwoofer along with the adaptive speakers on the TV itself make for a great movie night at home!

Not the easiest to navigate

The picture is nice and bright. It's difficult for my mom to manage the remote buttons are small and it took us a minute to figure out how to turn the volume up and down.

Hi Debbie, Thanks for reaching out about the intermittent black screen issue. If you're not using any external devices and the TV randomly cuts to black, it’s usually related to settings, signal, or internal software. Here are a few steps to help narrow it down and get things stable again. 1. Start with Power & Source Checks • Confirm the source: Even without external devices, it's worth confirming the TV is on the correct internal source (like TV/Live TV or a streaming app). Go to: Home > Connected Devices > Sources • Power cycle the TV: Unplug the TV from the power outlet for at least 60 seconds, then plug it back in. This can help reset any temporary glitches. • Check the power outlet: If you're using a power strip or surge protector, try plugging the TV directly into the wall to rule out inconsistent power delivery. 2. Update Your TV Software: Software updates often resolve bugs that can cause screen flickers or blackouts • Make sure the TV has the latest firmware version installed: Home > Settings > Support > Software Update 3. Run Built-In Diagnostics • Perform a Picture Test: Home > Settings > Support > Device Care > Self Diagnosis > Picture Test. This helps determine if the issue is hardware- or software-related. • Run the HDMI Test (optional): Even without HDMI devices connected, this can help verify that internal ports are functioning properly: Home > Settings > Support > Device Care > Self Diagnosis > HDMI Test 4. Review Energy & Picture Settings • Turn off Power Saving Mode or Eco Solution settings—they can dim or turn off the screen during periods of inactivity: Settings > All Settings > General & Privacy > Power & Energy Saving • Turn off Auto Power Off (if enabled): Settings > All Settings > General & Privacy > System Manager > Auto Power Off • Adjust Picture Mode settings: If the current mode is overly dynamic (like “Dynamic” or “Vivid”), try switching to “Standard” or “Movie” and observe if the screen behavior changes. 5. Factory Reset (if needed): If the problem persists after all checks, consider resetting the TV to default settings. (Heads-up: this will erase your installed apps and personal settings.) If none of these steps resolve the intermittent blackout, please reach out to Samsung Support for further troubleshooting or possible service options at 1-800-SAMSUNG (8AM – 9PM EST Mon – Fri, 8AM – 6PM Sat – Sun), or reach us via text anytime. Some annoying things with my Samsung TV

It has a great sharp picture. Other than that there are some issues. After I shut it off it keeps turning itself back on. Very annoying. Also have a hard time finding Spectrum. Also very annoying.

Hi DH Ladd, Thank you for sharing your experience. We’re sorry to hear your U7900F TV is turning on and off unexpectedly. This kind of power cycling can often be resolved with a few troubleshooting steps: 1. Check the power cable for secure connection and signs of damage. If it’s bent, pinched, pressed by furniture, or shows wear, replacing it may resolve the issue. 2. Unplug the TV from the wall outlet for 30 seconds, then plug it back in and test operation. 3. Update the TV’s software (if the TV remains on long enough). Note that a power interruption during an update can cause further issues, so only proceed if the TV is staying on reliably. Go to: Settings > Support > Software Update > Update Now 4. If your TV is connected to SmartThings, it may be turning on from a signal sent through the network. You can disable this feature by going to: Home > left directional key > Settings > All Settings > Connection > Network > Expert Settings > Power On with Mobile = Off If none of these steps resolve the issue, your TV may need service. Please give us a call at 1-800-SAMSUNG (8AM – 9PM EST Mon – Fri, 8AM – 6PM Sat – Sun). Our LiveChat agents are also available at the ‘Support’ link on our website. ~ Samsung Advisor
