I bought this item quantity 2, to install in my garage. the shelves looks good now, but here is the problem, installing these shelves is a nightmare, I almost returned the 2nd item, but I needed 2 identical items. If you are not a handy man, do not buy it.

This has GOT TO BE the best heavy duty garage shelf system in the under $100 price range. I bought two and just attempted to purchase 3 more - only to discover that they were temporarily out of stock. I am checking daily for a chance to buy several more. They exceeded my needs and expectations. And assembly was very straight forward.

Nice, sturdy

I bought two of these 1/29/2018. I think they look nice and I like the design. However, the rivet locking system is not very tight. After assembling the first one, I moved it closer to the wall and the rivets would pop out on several shelves. Yes I did use a rubber mallet to pound the rivets into the locking position. I noticed as I built the unit, some would not stay down. The looseness of the rivets also results in a not so stable shelving unit. I'll be returning at least one. For the money spent, I'm not happy about them...

I would NOT recommend it, weighs 97 lbs can barely get out of car. After reading bad reviews I'm taking back. Luckily FedEx was making delivery and was able to get it back in suv. He said wow that is real heavy. I'm 67 female, it's going back and buy another of lighter weight chrome 4 shelf, easy to assemble as I bought it same time, was 37#s and carried it in. Good luck, read reviews.

We previously purchased Gorilla brand shelves at Sam's. While the Member's Mark shelves appear very similar, they are not as sturdy. We have are experienced with assembly, used the aforementioned rubber mallet to ensure parts were seated correctly, the pieces themselves are flimsy. The packing is also flimsy as the second shelf unit that we purchased is severely damaged...in the box. We store lightweight items on these shelves with the heaviest being on the bottom shelf; holiday decorations, etc. I hesitate to put any item over 10 pounds on them. We are returning the damaged shelf unit for a refund. One of these flimsy units is sufficient.

Wow, I agree with earlier comments. I have owned similar shelving units in the past -- they were great. These are terrible!! The metal is so thin that you cant tap the shelf supports into the posts without bending the metal. When you do get the shelf supports to go in, they don't seat! This is the worst product I have purchased in a long time. I will be returning them.

I'm using these shelves for my stockpile of laundry, price I feel it may have been priced cheaper since it is flimsy & very thin metal/aluminum. If you were to keep moving these shelves i wouldn't recommend since I feel they're going to fall apart but since I don't plan on reorganizing & moving them from where I put them I think they're Ok.

My son and I spent over an hour trying to assemble this thing! It should be easy but it wasn’t. I think some of our pieces were a little bent because the support beams really didn’t want to fit in the holes and we had to wrench and fight to get them hammered into place. Also, once the unit is up, it isn’t sturdy. Meaning that you can wiggle it back and forth and watch the whole frame twist. Again, we may have gotten one that is damaged. I think it will be better once I weigh down the bottom shelves with heavy items but still a little disappointed in this purchase.
