We were so happy with the first one we bought we bought a second one. We had bought a similar rack like this from Sams's some years back. This one has a much nicer look and we are super happy with the depth of the shelf. We are very pleased with the purchase

Worst Shelf Unit Ever! I am shocked and confused by the high reviews. The brackets are thin, flimsy metal that bend almost like aluminum foil. The shelves are composite material that's not strong. The worst part is how easily the braces and arms that hold the shelves pop-out with the smallest movement or shifting. It all bends and twists so easily if you're not treating it with excessive delicacy. I owned five different shelf units for my garage storage and pantry storage over the years and this is by far by far the worst..

This was very hard to assemble and the parts for stacking are very flimsy. The part used for stacking broke several times.. I kept it because I didn’t want to deal with sending it back. I wouldn’t buy. I did speak to customer service and they credited me $48 to supplement getting additional items to help support it. It isn’t safe around small kids.

I've purchased other similar shelves to this. However, this unit was the best I've ever bought for these simple reasons: * simple for 1 person to put together. I love the fact that it has joiner pieces to connect the top and bottom instead of just splitting a shelf to do it. * hole covers not only make it nicer looking, but makes it feel much sturdier. * plastic top and bottom pieces to make it not have metal on your floor. Happy I bought 2 (for my garage), I'll be buying 2 more (for my basement), and as long as these are made to this quality, I'll always look to buy this unit for my large shelving needs.

I purchased 6 of these shelving units during a 1-day sale. I wish I had purchased a few more. They were easy to put together using only a rubber mallet. They are cleverly designed so that they are very stable and very sturdy. The ingenious splice plate design allows multiple units to be placed side-by-side with no gaps. The only flaw is that the laminate on the side of the shelves was loose on several shelves.

The best medium weight shelving I have ever purchased. Sooo much easier to assemble than similar shelving units I’ve purchased in the past. Especially the alignment inserts they have for connecting the two pieces on each corner post, make post assembly super easy. By far, the best quality and most reasonably priced garage and basement shelving on the market.

Best shelving units we've ever had. Have some in garage and now added more to the basement to get things organized. Easy to assemble, extremely strong solid shelves so everything is easy to store and it doesn't fall over, very sturdy - they don't wobble, and the appearance is wonderful not having to see all the holes for shelf locations.

We purchased two of these units for our business. Upon opening the package, I was immediately disappointed to see that the shelves are made of rather thin plastic (1/4" thick) and literally bow when loaded with less than 100 lbs of items. When assembled, the whole unit sways and shifts when sliding heavier items on the shelves. Frequently, one of the shelf rails will become dislodged causing that shelf to fall onto the one below. They state 800 lbs capacity for each shelf, but I highly doubt that is accurate unless each item is placed perfectly distributed and gingerly on the shelves. I do not recommend. If you need sturdy shelves opt for the heavy duty wire shelving instead.

I bought this to alleviate storage problems for bulk purchases of toilet paper, paper towels and water. Assembly was fairly simple, 2 people make the job super easy. The shelves lay into place which is convenient if they should break in any way (plywood can be used to replace). I found the rubber pad inserts were the most difficult part of installation - I wound up destroying 3 before I decided to not use. Since the water was on the bottom shelf, I decided not to install the rest. I really like the ability to customize the unit to fit my needs - I'm using 3 shelves for storage and the rest is currently in another room as a desk for crafting in another room.

I purchased this to help organize our garage better. After reading many reviews, I chose these shelves. I am very happy with my purchase and they are great quality. They hold a large amount of weight per shelf and are very durable. They seem to be made to last and will be perfect to help declutter our garage.
