It must upsetting that the scent was too powerful for your liking, and it did not perfom as expected. For a safer Tide Liquid alternative, I would advise you to try our Tide Liquid Free &amp; Gentle which is formulated for people with sensitive skin, and it is also dye-free and scent-free. And, more importantly, it has an amazing washing performance as these. Our detergents are designed to penetrate fabrics, loosen dirt, and suspend it in water to prevent redepositing. For outdoor stains like clay or soil, powder detergents work best; oily or greasy dirt is better tackled by liquids, while our single-dose units handle both effectively. To enhance cleaning, follow fabric care instructions, use the hottest safe water, sort clothes by color and fabric, pre-treat stains with detergent (after testing for colorfastness), avoid overloading the washer to allow proper tumbling, use the recommended detergent amount based on load size, soil level, and water hardness, and select gentle cycles only as advised by care labels.
