Light weight, great sound

Very easy to use and light weight. Better than my previous Titanium ones that had the band around the back. However, it was nice to be able to press the button to find out how charged the battery was, and I don't think these Open Air ones have that feature.

Battery

I own a lot of your products. I love them and struggle to wear anything else. All other headphones irritate my ears. These are amazing, but my right earpiece only lasts a couple of hours... and that is bothersome because my others last much longer. If it's just a bad battery, I would understand, but it would be the second time I've has an issue with a Shokz earpiece. You replaced my Shokz Open fit because both earpieces lost quality. I love my open ear... I love Shokz. But the battery charge is troubling.

Control issues

Like others have said, the touch controls are not easy to use. I must set the volume with my phone and am able to answer about half the calls using headphone controls. The controls are not obvious and don’t always respond to touch. Otherwise, I love the sound and comfort.

Comfortable and effective

I have enjoyed using the new OpenAir Shokz. I wish there was a way to turn them off short of putting them in the case but otherwise they are great for listening to podcasts while I am walking and hiking without fear of losing them while still maintaining awareness of the sounds around me.

Really want to like these but the touch controls may be too sensitive

I've been using the OpenRuns for a couple of years and love it, but thought I'd give these a try. I really like the feel on my ears, and the sound is quite good. Both my runs this weekend wearing these were problematic, though. I don't know if it was sweat, or my hair, or even the wind, but they kept activating on their own - the volume just kept going up and up without me touching the right earpiece. Then, the left one got into the act, and it sounded like a ping pong match - beep on the left and volume goes down, beep on the right and volume goes up, and back and forth, all without me touching anything. I guess I could disable that particular touch setting, but that seems kind of counterproductive. Is there any way to change the sensitivity of the touch controls?

Great device!

These are great listening devices! I already had the Openrun Pro but wanted something a little more compact for travel. I love these! They are easy to use, secure in the ear and provide great sound quality. My only complaint is that I wish they were a little louder as sometimes it is hard to hear podcasts or audiobooks if you are in a crowded or louder area. Great product overall and would buy again!

Touch control issues - Please make the Openfit with Real Buttons!

I liked everything about these when I tried them at home, pairing was easy enough, the sound quality was better than my current runners, the Aeropex, without the pressure from the band. The Openfit Air were comfortable, light, stayed in place and were sunglass friendly. The touch controls would skip a song, pause, or adjust the volume when I didn’t want them to. On my first run, the controls went haywire as soon as I started sweating, and each side fought to adjust the volume continually until it got so loud I had to remove them. This happened repeatedly. I decided to send them back, and the return seemed easy enough. Maybe Shokz could make a version with real buttons. Luckily, I still enjoy my Aeropex even after three years. Thanks and good luck!

I have a pair of

I have a pair of Open Run that other than the band that connects the 2 bone conductors I love. I wanted to try the Open Fit because they didn't have the band. The way the Open Fit sit on the ear is very uncomfortable after a short period of time. I wonder if you tested any with a slightly different angel so they would be bone conducting

Good but could be better

They stay in place well, sound is good. I'm still able to hear my surroundings without concerns. My biggest issue is the touch sensor. It's difficult at times to find the right spot to pause what you are listening too. But then randomly during running activities it'll the touch sensor will be triggered for no reason, which can be annoying especially if it's skipping to the next chapter or song. I'm not sure if I got a pair that js defective or this is all of them. I, also, own the OpenFit originals and have not had this issue with them.

Great sound

I originally bought my wife the first generation of After Shokz and she has loved them but the battery doesn’t seem to hold a charge anymore so on our 27th anniversary (june21) I purchased her the open air and…. Wow she loves them, the sound is amazing and light weight and she loves the pink
