I've had the Original august and the 2nd Gen and had issues with slow response and slow lock movement. This 4th Gen has fixed these issues and made it in a smaller package

I bought this as a replacement for a worn out Kwikset Kevo, as soon as the matte black wifi version became available. It is much faster, more reliable, and easier to use, especially with the auto-unlock feature. Very happy with my purchase.

Good lock, issues with installation at first but then fixed. It does not always unlock when set on the auto unlock feature, sometimes it does, sometimes it doesn't. Otherwise pretty cool lock.

This was a snap to install and works good. The only issue I have is the optional keypad does not work half the time. They really need to come out with a decent keypad to make this a winner!

Really like this lock. It's easy to install and operating it is so easy with the app. I also like that the batteries are easy to get to when they need changing.

Installation was easy. Definitely like the features of the app, with door, locking and unlocking automatic. Also, appreciate being able to retain the original lock cylinder and key.

Connection problems to wifi and to the key pad. Anything but seemless. Might be a faulty unit. We have a robust wifi so it seems unlikely that is the problem.

I love the way it works, and is easy to install. They work great in my short-term rental homes. BUT the batteries only last an average of 8-12 weeks. And CR123 batteries are the expensive ones.

This replaced my previous smart locks so I could geotag and have it operate automatically. That part works great. Even better is the ease of setup and the quality of operations.

After the lock and my phone "discovered" each other, the lock has worked beautifully, both with the phone and the keypad. A great convenience for my second-floor condo.
