[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It's a simple, straightforward system that works with Arlo's cameras but doesn't require them. It also doesn't need to be professionally installed. I was able to set it all up in minutes myself. There was no drilling or hard-wiring involved, and the Arlo app walks you through the setup. Arlo's hub and sensors are white and clean-looking. I placed one of the sensors in a door frame primarily to sense the door opening and closing. I stuck the second one on a wall with the intent to sense motion. Setup was pretty easy with peel and stick. If you want to place one in a corner (typically a pretty good vantage point for a motion detector) you'll need to drill in the additional corner-mounting hardware that comes included in the box. You control your system through the Arlo Secure app, which lets you toggle between three separate arming modes; view camera feeds and clips; check the status of your multi-sensors; or craft automated rules for when the system should automatically arm itself. There are three different modes you can put the system in: Standby, Arm Home and Arm Away. In Standby mode, neither the motion sensor nor the door sensor is armed. You'll get a chirp letting you know when the door opens, but no alarm. In Arm Home mode, the door sensor is armed but the motion detector remains unarmed, meaning you won't trigger the system as you move about inside your home. In Arm Away mode, both the motion sensor and door sensor are armed. If the system is tripped, you'll get a notification on your phone, and the hub will beep for 60 seconds. You can cancel the alarm by punching your code into the hub, or by using the app. If you don't, you'll hear an ear-piercing panic alarm, and if you've subscribed to a monitoring plan, a response agent will work to contact the authorities on your behalf. Arlo's system also lets you set up widgets for each sensor within the app for easy access. You can set up widgets for each part of your security system, and you can set up automations to schedule when your system is armed and disarmed, too. Overall, this is a great addition to my existing Arlo cameras.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have always enjoyed Arlo brand but these things go next level. It is extremely easy to setup and the sensors are great. They can sense door opening, garage door tilting and even temperature. I am using them for my doors. They are very accurate and haven’t had any false positives yet. The pad is also nice as it can alarm. This thing can also reach out to emergency services which is cool but I am not using that feature. Very pleased with this product.

This is a nice looking security system that gives me ease of mind for the shop. This security system you can setup with your own personal code for easy entry. When the system doesn’t get the code typed in, the police will be notified. This security system comes with two sensors and the keypad. If the system smells smoke it will also call the fire department. This also has carbon monoxide and smoke alarm built in with an alarm built in that will sound when not right. This security system has all you need, and more in one convenient small system.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Definitely not the easiest thing to install and required anchoring which led to some frustration. However, it seems to be working well and the chimes on the doors are now working properly after some minor adjustments. My favorite feature about this product is that you can create multiple pins for family members, friends etc. and control dates and times of when those pins are active. The only thing that I didn’t really like is that you need a subscription for emergency services. I would definitely recommend this product to others.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Arlo Home Security system was really easy to setup. Just plug it in, connect to your wifi network and you’re connected! Getting the sensors connected to the hub was a breeze. We like that the sensors are multifunctional, although we currently use them to as door sensors. We plan on getting a couple more for our patio doors and maybe for water leakage. We also like that the hub is a motion sensor. Also that it has a battery backup incase the power goes out of disconnected. Although we have yet to sign up for the paid home monitoring plan, its good to know that is an option. We currently don’t have any Arlo cameras will look into getting those as well to go along with this security system. Overall we like this Arlo Home Security system, and it put us at ease knowing that we can arm the system when we are not at home or asleep.

Easy to set up, easy to install. The app is not a rocket science as well. Love the light charm sounds when the doors open. One thing that I don't like it that you can't set up saving streams on your personal storage (NaS, not sure if popular Drives work). Otherwise, if you are ok with a subscription, you can get Arlo products around the house! Design is pretty sleek as well.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was so excited for this campaign. We decided to put it by the back door since our front door is inoperable. It came with window alarms . It was very easy to install , however it couldn’t read our Wi-Fi so I believe it needs to be set up close to the modem. It would have been beneficial to know this before setting it up because now we have to take it back down which is a pain considering how my husband has the wires out of site. The only way to use the emergency services is to pay for a subscription. I do like the window alarms also since it will sound off if anyone tries to open it. My daughter accidentally hit the alarm on the key pad, and it sets off a high pitch alarm so it’s easy to hear.
