High Quality and smart features

Am very impressed with the quality of the LG Washtower. I bought it after seeing adds on TV. Never "saw" the product in person but was so wanting a combined washtower like this I bought it sight unseen. I love the smart features, that it knows by the type of wash that it automatically selects the matching dry cycle. Like the wifi with notifications of when the cycle is done. The tempered glass is beautiful. Very happy with product!

I LOVE IT!!!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought it last month, and debated between this LG and another unit that also has excellent reviews. One Saturday morning, I was listening to "Home with Dean Sharp" (the "House Whisperer") on the radio and, voila! In this broadcast, he discussed laundry centers -- and this one received a rave review. That sold me. And now, the unit has sold me. I LOVE IT!!!

Works fantastic with awesome features!

I’ve bad this for about 2wks now and I’m loving this washtower. We have this weird & terrible design where the washer dryer has to be stacked in a closet. My previous frontload LG set fit- comfortably. After multiple measurements and extensive research, I have found that all the new machines are bigger than the ones I had. There was no way I was going to risk getting a new set in hopes that it would magically fit. Nope. This washer tower was an a great alternative. Even better. The machines fits nicely with room on top to spare AND the capacity is bigger. I love the wifi function and notifications for when the loads are done. When you live in a TRI level home with the washroom on the first floor, it’s nice not to have to go up and down stairs to check how much time is left. I can just pull up my app and check the time on. I also like that I can start a load via the app in case I need it to be “delayed” but I just recently discovered that delayed start is a feature in the app! So awesome. Not that I’ll use it much but it’s nice to know that it’s there. A feature that I found kind of cool was that the dryer automatically selects the setting you used in the wash. If I was using the bedding settings in the washer, the dryer selects that when it turns on. Kind of neat. And my absolute favorite of all. The color. That red is FIRE.

Love the new color!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Went from another beloved stackable in white. Just love the new grey color and especially how you can press the on button to have light inside to make sure you get all the clothes out of the washer! Love how there is ample room to add detergents. Still love tinkering with each setting and enjoy the chimes but so glad I can turn them off, too. The time on the display is no longer a lie! 15 minute loads! No mold smells either! I have mine inside cabinetry, it’s a bit dark to load the soap dispenser some days but added cabinet light to solve that.

Good, so far!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought this unit from Costco, so there was a delay of several weeks between the purchase date and the installation date. We were replacing a Samsung set that we'd had for around five years. The LG unit doesn't have as many built-in cycles as we're used to, and while additional cycles similar to those on the Samsung can be accessed and downloaded using the ThinQ app, that isn't very convenient when those downloadable cycles happen to be the ones we use most often. It would be great if the unit had a few "user-programmable" settings that could be added and that would remain available without having to find and download them every time.

Love everything about the Washtower!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought this a month ago and love, love, love it! I can reach the buttons in the middle, love the large size, and that I can connect from the app which tells me when the tub needs cleaned & laundry is done. It also knows the dryer setting after the washer is done...It fits into the space perfectly.

Great example on modern tech ease removing key fea

We have had this set for a few months now. Key features are missing and no matter the settings even with steam things are coming out of the dryer crunchy and wrinkly. No whites cycle on washer. No ability to set water temp to cold and have it stay that way as a default for your wash. No air fluff on the dryer. In fact, their dry sensors are so"advanced" that the dryer just shuts off when you try to put something in to fluff it. No time dry settings.

Huge capacity and much quieter

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had to replace an old unit in a very small space, and this was the only device which fit within my (very tight) constraints and matched the capacity of the older unit. Once I got it though, it does far more than I expected (went from three to two loads at a time) and it is so much quieter than my old unit. I highly recommend.

LG ThinQ Washer Dryer combo. Looks nice, broken

I bought this 8 months ago and it has been broken for the last 2 months. The main board is bad and not suppling voltage to gas valves. So no heat. LG is trying to fix it. I have had to call them many times. They are trying though. Getting GAS error.

what a difference!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Replaced old “standard type” washer and dryer with the combined tower, what a difference! Far less water, noise and drying time. 2 drawbacks; have to dry the washer seal every time and it is super heavy so install was challenging up to 2nd floor.
