It even has a function to distribute chlorine (my pool is salt so I haven’t tried it but I love that it’s built in). This is controllable by an easy to use app on my phone. The only thing it’s missing is cleaning the sides of my pool but I think there is a fancier model that the company makes that does this. I’d love to try that one! Great product overall.

It has a solar panel on the top so it can slightly charge while it cleans but it’s more effective to use the actual wall outlet for longer use.

The unboxing experience is really good and the set up was super easy. The big advantage of this robot is that you can also charge it manually in case there is no sunlight and the battery goes off, and it last for days. When it is sunny it recharges it automatically and it can go for weeks or even months without even touch it. Another great feature is the ability to control it from your smartphone. The robot connects to your app over bluetooth or wifi which is super cool and easy, you can for example check the battery level and also remote control your robot. It is easy to clean up and the robot is super smart and hardly get stuck on my pool Highly recommended!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was sent the Aiper SurferS2 to try in exchange for my honest feedback. We absolutely love the Aiper SurferS2. We are using it in the same pool I’ve grown up with. Skimming the pool was a daily chore for my siblings and I growing up, and now it’s daily chore for my children. That chore is now a thing of the past. It’s solar charged so it charges as it cleans. Once you install the app, you can control exactly where it goes. That’s great when you’re trying to get certain things. Otherwise, it just goes around the pool cleaning away. I can check on it at any time during the day through the app, and it sends alerts if a sensor needs to be cleared, or if there is any other kind of issue. The first day we put it in the pool it was very windy and it had a lot of skimming to do. It did a fantastic job and continues to do a fantastic job. We are extremely impressed by the job it is doing. Even our pool guy is impressed. For reference, our pool is a tad larger than most backyard pools and this is not at all a problem for the Aiper. The basket that collects debris is big and very easy to empty. The Aiper is not very heavy and is easy to lift out of the pool. It’s also very easy to operate with the app. Like I mentioned earlier, we love that you can control where it goes with the app. Couldn’t be more satisfied. We can watch it do its thing all day. If you have a pool, I strongly recommend the Aiper SurferS2!!
