I didn't have a problem with the app when I downloaded it. The battery lasted longer, and I like that it is also solar. It's super nice that it has a chlorine tablet dispenser inside the filter. The only thing I had a tiny problem with was when I tried to put the chlorine tablet inside the dispenser, I couldn't close the lid, but it was not a big deal I still made it worked. All in all, i recommend I think it's worth it and really helps you to save time to clean the pool..

It really works well at cleaning the surface of the pool as well as the waterline along the edges. Then on top of that being able to control it with my cell phone is really a big plus. In the summer, our pool is always filled with bugs. This is gonna be awesome to have now no more having to get the net and clean the pool before the kids swim.

The Surfer S2 is an amazing and easy way to keep the surface of your pool clean! I haven't ever had such a cleanly skimmed pool before! Plus it's nearly effortless! It can last up to a few days running continuously in the pool because it has a solar panel and seeks out sun when it's running low to recharge. On cloudy days It can be plugged in and still last all day! I'm hesitant to leave it running overnight but it can be. It has a beautiful sleek design while it floats and uses it's propellers to glide about the pool continuously skimming it. Its fine mesh basket catches even the smallest bits of pollen, but also larger floating leaves. You can use the app to steer it directly to a specific area. Set on auto it will take a while to get the surface crystal clear because although it has advanced sensors to navigate the pool, it doesn't seem to map or systematically clean. It's overall very simple to use and doesn't have different settings or modes. The main negative is that when it's out of the pool not in use, it's fairly large and clunky. When removed, you have to thoroughly rinse it and it's basket before letting it dry to recharge and reuse or store. It's a bit too large to find a good place to charge and store in my home when not in use, especially because it may be wet and shouldn't be left outside in extreme seasonal conditions. We are using it in the same pool I’ve grown up with. Skimming the pool was a daily chore for my siblings and I growing up, and now it’s daily chore for my children. That chore is now a thing of the past. It’s solar charged so it charges as it cleans. Once you install the app, you can control exactly where it goes. That’s great when you’re trying to get certain things. Otherwise, it just goes around the pool cleaning away. I can check on it at any time during the day through the app, and it sends alerts if a sensor needs to be cleared, or if there is any other kind of issue. The first day we put it in the pool it was very windy and it had a lot of skimming to do. It did a fantastic job and continues to do a fantastic job. We are extremely impressed by the job it is doing. Even our pool guy is impressed. For reference, our pool is a tad larger than most backyard pools and this is not at all a problem for the Aiper. The basket that collects debris is big and very easy to empty. The Aiper is not very heavy and is easy to lift out of the pool. It’s also very easy to operate with the app. Like I mentioned earlier, we love that you can control where it goes with the app. Couldn’t be more satisfied. We can watch it do its thing all day. If you have a pool, I strongly recommend the Aiper SurferS2!!
