[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Tide Eco Pads seem to work very well. They clean great as most Tide products do. No left over residual. No smell at all. These discs feel like a dense soapy fiber that can easily stick to your hands if they are sweaty or wet. They cut in half easily for a tiny load if needed! Toss 1-2 pads into the washer drum, then your clothes and let the washer do its thing! Easy peasy! I received these as incentive for my honest opinion in this review.

I was pleasantly surprised that the laundry smelled so clean because free and gentle has no fragrances but they smelled fresh. The squares dissolved quickly in the washer.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Received these new Tide tiles to try out courtesy of Influenster. I will have to say that I actually liked these more than Tide Pods. Recent formula for the pods just haven't been working as well and was hit or miss. Sometimes pods weren't fully dissolving. Or stains weren't coming out. Some pods didn't seem to have the right measurements. After using these on several loads - I feel like they are very consistent and works well! The packaging is nice. Straight to the point with what it is, what it's made of, and how to use. The product itself feels great in the hand and less...chemically or dangerous than pods. I received the free & gentle version to test and I love that it uses a Hypoallergenic formula. It left clothes feeling soft and I didn't experience any skin reactions. It has a clean smell but nothing perfumey or scented (obviously). It left clothes clean. I had some spaghetti stains on a white t-shirt that had been sitting for about a week. Gone and didn't even use the heavier soiled setting on my washer! Clothes all felt and looked clean. Super easy to use - just throw a tile into the washer before putting in clothes. I tried it on different settings, different temps, and they all worked well. Product itself is light, portable, and more organized than the pods. I love the convenience. Especially not having to measure or guess how much to use. The only con I can think of is that I wish it were a little bit cheaper as I had gone through these quickly. Sometimes, liquid is easier for smaller loads; you can measure out and put less liquid. If the tiles are all you have, then a small load would still use a whole tile, which seems to waste it. You could save up laundry and wait for a bigger load - but sometimes that isn't feasible. Overall, great product. Really like it and can't wait to try others in this line!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm an endurance athlete with a rigorous workout schedule, which ends up, resulting in several loads of laundry per week. I hate the fact that so much laundry detergent comes in plastic containers, and that that plastic often ends up where it doesn't belong, like in our environment and our bodies. Eco-friendly laundry detergent has come a long way in the past few years. I'm always looking for eco-friendly options for unavoidable consumables, but have often been underwhelmed by the effectiveness of some of them. These little laundry detergent packets are innovative, and although they look strange, they don't leave a residue on your hands when using them, or have any particular odor. They're easy to use and after running a few laundry loads with them, I found them not to leave any residue, like some pods tend to do. I can say with confidence that if are effective on a laundry basket full of a weeks worth of workout gear (in varying stages of ahem... "ripening") then these would probably wash anything you put them up against. They leave the clothes clean and not smelling like anything at all. I'm super happy with their performance and look forward to their continued use.
