The size makes it convenient to store when not in use. However, the size may also be the only limitation for someone who needs more surface area to work on a larger project. Clear lines and measurements can be seen so easily. Precision and smooth cutting. For quilling paper, as for most paper crafts, I NEED precision and smooth cutting to keep all the paper trimmings I use exactly the same width; this exceeds those Needs. This is a wonderful tool to have and has replaced my previous multi-purpose trimmer.

It is easy to use: lift the guide, press down on the blade system (either up or down), and voilà! All done—you’ll have neatly cut papers, photographs, or other thin, cuttable items. Since it is compact and lightweight, it can be stored just about anywhere and is also portable for any last-minute needs.

It makes traveling with it easy. There is no exposed blade making it safe to be used by young kids. My students and granddaughter love using it for crafts.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This light duty trimmer nice as an everyday tool to quickly trim photos or sheets of paper. The lift up arm gives easy access to the trimmer. I tested trimming 10 sheets at one pass. While it did cut the stack clean, I would recommend Westcott’s heavy duty trimmer if you are going to trim multiple sheets on a regular basis. Overall a great trimmer that will fit your drawer.

Cuts cardstock, construction paper etc. too.I use it for quick trims when I don’t want to pull out my larger Westcott paper trimmer. The placement arm lifts up which is really great when placing paper underneath. Sharp and precise it’s a tool I can’t do without.

Like the degree feature. Push button on blade is nice. Only wish ruler was easier to see. Print needs to be darker or even on top of guide.

Those massive machines that you have to pull the arm down really hard on are just too big for our needs. Whether for couponing or crafting or any of several other types of tasks, this gets the job done well without having to risk getting your fingers cut off if not placed safely on the handle/arm.
