I have to cut the transfer paper to size, and I need them as straight as possible. The thing I really like about this one is that I can see exactly where to set the paper to get it as close to the image as possible. On other models that I have used, I have to use the blade and hope I set it close to the image. It cuts the paper like butter. The blades are inexpensive, and they are simple to replace. The markings also help me to get the paper in there straight and even. I would definitely recommend them to anyone.

Sorry to sound dramatic, but this product is amazing. Having lifelong used paper cutters professionally and for hobbies, I'm fussy with precision, love portability and try to avoid heavy objects as well. I just cut the long side of a letter size paper perfectly on the armrest of my car! The hidden blades safety feature is yet another plus. Besides being one of the best products purchased this decade, the value-to-dollar price can't be beat.

The trimmer will accommodate most paper weights and light card stock. I've even used it for light plastic sheets, too. No problems.

I love the way the blade words by having to press the button while you drag it (so you can reposition without cutting if you want to). It's great quality and a perfect side for cutting standard size sheets of paper.
