We first bought two heavy duty storage shelves (the next one up from this one) and put them in our basement a couple years ago. Those are Great shelves too. We now needed one more and decide to buy this one because the price was some less. The first shelves we bought were so heavy duty that it was really a waste to put them in our basement for boxes of decorations, sports equipment, food & house items. This shelf is the best for basement storage!!!! The first two we got we could of put tires, cement blocks & tools on them & would of been great for garage items. This one won’t disappoint if you don’t overload!! It will last for a very long time, if not longer!!!

These are amazing shelves. We have a garage/barn where we store equipment and needed sturdy shelving for storage of tools and gardening equipment. These are great shelves. They are not difficult to put together and are perfect for storage, they're wide and long enough to fit tools and equipment easily with no problems accessing them.

If I was rating this storage rack based on truth in advertising, it would be 3-stars at best. However, it's still a decent shelf system. This same shelf sells for $300 - $350 at other stores so it's a great deal at Sam's Club for $200. It seems sturdy enough to hold my gas cans and propane tanks so it'll work fine in my shop. Just understand that this shelf is industrial only in appearance.

Extremely heavy duty shelving that's so easy to assemble. I've had the opportunity this year to assemble many different similar shelving units with my work having a new building this year this one by far is the best the heaviest and the easiest being completely tool free and will hold whatever you want to put on it as i store my tractor buckets and other implements on it with no worries of it tipping over or failing. Just an overall great product. If you are a plus member id recommend having it delivered due to the weight of the box.

I have purchased at least 5 of these shelves for the workshop. We store totes full of heavy tools, large boxes of fasteners and equipment. These shelves are sturdy and do not tweek or bow. We have moved and taken them apart and reassembled them and they are still great and went right back together. Great purchase and I will purchase again.

These are nice big shelves. Assembly takes some time, but it goes together as well as could be expected. As the instructions mention, it does need to be attached to a wall and/or the floor. Even it only one side is attached to a wall, the other side is pretty wobbly. I ended up attaching one side to a wall (where there was a stud), and the other side to the floor.

Absolutely great shelving units. I was leery about having them (2 units) shipped, but they arrived intact. they easy to put together and nothing to tighten. I didn't even use a mallet. they are nice looking, powdered coated and industrial strength. Ni complaints and highly recommended.

Over the last year or so the quality of products like shelving units has gone downhill unfortunately. They have changed the quality of materials and the coating on the metal making them a much less valuable product. It's unfortunate that they have decided to do the bare minimum to save a few cents. I would rather pay a couple extra dollars for a higher quality product.

This is a great shelving unit at a good price. I paid around $150.00 and many of the big box lumber stores were well over $200.00 with some nearing $300.00. I don’t plan to test their 10,000 pound rated capacity, but I have no doubt that they would easily hold 1,000-1,5000 pounds per shelf or more. The shelving unit was easy to put together and looks great in my garage.

Very fictional and sturdy. My only complaint is the wire racks. The upward facing wires run parallel to the shelf and they are on 2" spacing so anything you try to put on the shelf catches on each wire. Easy assembly and very heavy duty. If you have a long wall you can link 2 shelf systems together making 3 sections of shelf.
