Been using this for about 3 years now, love it! No cramps, no joint pains, no negative side effects. Your nails and hair will grow too fast, like two days fast. That would be my own downside of it.

I'm a long consumer of Vital Proteins Collagen and love it. This time I wanted to try Sports Research which is a very good brand as well. I like that it dissolves quickly in my morning coffee and no aftertaste. Can't tell about its effects on the body because I just started taking it.

This is my first collagen powder, I don’t notice the sour taste or bad taste others have mentioned, I add to my coffee. My skin is noticeably better, less crepey. I will continue to use.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I use SR brand with other supplements. Wanted to try small organic, grass fed unflavored in ky night warm mushroom cocoa. No tummy issues & feel helps quality of sleep for me due to Protein & amino acids. On my 2nd order.

While this collagen is unflavored it is not tasteless. It adds a bitter flavor to my coffee that detracts from my enjoyment of my coffee. It may be better in juice or any other drink but I don't drink juice. I have my morning coffee and then water or sparkling water throughout the day. I don't know what causes the bitter taste. I have had plain collagen before that added no taste at all to my coffee. So it may be the amino acids causing it. I know that I have taken amino acid powders in my coffee before and some of them are quite bitter.

I have been using Vital Proteins each morning in my coffee and after a couple of weeks, I did notice some improvement in my knees. It dissolved instantly and had no flavor. I decided to try this one since it was organic. I do find it has a sour after taste that I did not have with my other product. Ive tried it multiple times and I cant get past the taste, Im going to go back to my old one.

I cannot speak on the effectiveness of this product as I couldn't get past the sour taste. This is my first time trying this product, and I was surprised how it altered the flavor of my coffee and not in a good way. Yuck!!!

I wish I had listened to the reviews that mentioned the sour taste. I thought it wouldn't bother me, I typically put it in my hot tea or coffee. But I can't get past the flavor and smell of it, definitely an odd/sour twist. I'm a long time user of Vital Proteins but trying to find an alternate, and this isn't it.

I have been using the non-organic version for some time and love it, especially because it has no taste and blends nicely into any drink or smoothie. I bought the organic version because it was such a great price. Added it to my coffee, as ususl, and it had a sour, undrinkable taste. I got a refund and had to throw the whole container away. I have no idea what they do to the organic version, but it is absolutely awful!
