[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] some people prefer their whisky and others abide by wine for me it's good old blue tape the kind painters use is fine you can apply it to all places, it's a quick fix for any job blue tape peels off so cleanly important because i'm no slob I use it to hold close curtains if I'm traveling and in hotels And once I wrapped it like stitches when I was cut in a cheap motel. Sure there's a need for duct and duck as brands for a stronger bind But I'll always bring my blue tape 'cause I've got blue tape on my mind @james richard johnson from Peoms by Rushing Water.

i went to my brothers house to help him paint his widows and he had some scotch blue tape. I loved how it was so easy to use and for some reason it smells good too. The paint didn't get threw and mess up the windows and after we finished it can off so easy and now I buy a roll every 2 weeks for my home projects and other uses too. I love this tape and i even make stencils out of it!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love this stuff, it beats the heck out of the old masking tape I grew up with! I use this for all my temporary tape need's. I just used this on a go-kart I repainted and it came out perfect! I use all around house and shop.

I bought this to tape off trim on multiple furniture pieces i needed to paint. I taped, primed, then painted two coats on each piece. When I began removing the tape, I noticed a harsh line as well as wood stain coming off on the tape. I left it on less than 48 hours TOTAL, which doesn’t seem like an unrealistic period of time. I’m beyond unimpressed and wholly dissatisfied with this product… after putting 60+ hours into sanding and prepping and staining and painting this is unacceptable. If I was able to leave ZERO stars, I would! Never again!!!!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] my wife and I did some remodeling last year, we needed to paint the wall a new color, while buying the paint the saleswoman said to use scotch blue tape. It was the best part of the job, tape was easy to use, went on and off with ease and made the cleanup quick, but best of all made clean lines and professional looking work.. I will use this product each time I need to paint anything.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I volunteer to evaluate products for 3M, and the company recently sent me a free sample of ScotchBlue original painters tape. I tried using this tape on a project where I repainted textured walls in a staircase. It worked extremely well, was easy to apply and paint did not bleed through it onto my wood bannisters and baseboards. Removal was easy, and the tape left no residue. Good instructions for use were included and my result was excellent. I definitely will buy this tape for future painting jobs.

OK. So decided to paint my bathroom this past Sunday. Bought the expensive Scotch Blue Tape for the so called "clean lines" they promised. They make it look so easy. OK. 14 day clean lines remove did not work. I had taped up'd the ceiling and along the tile. A day later after the paint dried, today, attempted to remove the tape. Well, the masking tape was very difficult to remove and did not leave me with clean lines. In many places, the tape pulled off paint. And I was pulling very slowly and carefully. In other places, many times, the tape ripped and was VERY DIFFICULT to remove just after one day. It got so bad that I had to get a razor blade and cut along the tape through the paint to ensure clean lines. Not thrilled with the results. I am going to have to go back and do edging touch up which I was hoping to avoid. Sorry. I don't know if the tape had too much adhesive or what. But didn't work for me. Save your money and get regular masking tape. Fletcher V

The manufacturer will always show the good reviews for sales. This stuff is now crap. They have made it so thin to save money, I couldn't even get it off a towel without it ripping a bunch of times. The glue is stronger than the blue paper now. Stay away!!!

Blue tape was excellent to secure batteries and cords to appliances when moving. Movers loved it. Put around cannister lids, jars, kleenex, baggie boxes and more. Secured sock pairs in boxez, etc. After unpacking, there was ease in opening and mo missing finishes on containers or utensils. There was no stocky tape residue eother. Great.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My sister does an art club for about 9 elementary & middle schools in the area here (attendance ranges from 30 - 70 kids - depending on the school). This months project is a motif design of the kid's choice using painter's tape criss-crossing the panel pieces (12 X 12), and then painting the spots with various colors of paint. The tape is then removed to reveal an original work of art. The tape works wonderfully.
