[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have to admit, I wasn't sure if there was such a thing as a tape that would be easy to remove from walls or glass without leaving some sort of tape marks. After using the original muti use tape, I was impressed that it did what I read it would do and that was come off so easily and clean. So happy that I tried it and now will be a true user.

I teach children's theater. Part of the kids' experience is to build and paint their own sets. ScotchBlue Painter's Tape is easy for both the kids (as young as 6) and the adults (well into their 80's) to use. It sticks well, but is easy to reposition. It holds tight to the set walls, keeping paint where it's supposed to be. Clean up is simple, our sets look crisp and unique, and the kids are SO PROUD that they did it themselves. Was super excited to be done with building our new closet. Started taking off the Scotch Blue Original, that’s when my heart sank. I kept taking the take off, along with stripes of paint, and heart sinking turned to expletives. DON’T USE unless you want frustration and more work to do.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As a member of the local brew club, this tape is used by many members that brew often, the surface is excellent to be written on by a permenant ink marker. The number one factor, is that it can be easily removed from all surfaces and not leave a sticky mess like the silver tape. These surfaces include, wood, plastic, stainless steel , cardboard and glass. Another great feature is it is quick to tear off the roll and apply with it not sticking to itself and getting tangled up.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] ScotchBlue painter's tape is my only choice for all of my protective household detailing projects. Of course I use it to cover all of my trim when painting. Last year I used multiple one inch sections to outline a giant heart shape on our bedroom wall and then stamped smaller hearts inside of it. (I have photos.) I use it to hold down glued sections of wall paper that need to be glued again. I have also used it to cover our new granite counter top so I wouldn't scratch it when I added grout to the back splash. Most recently I used this tape to protect the wood around all of my tarnished brass hinges as I refinshed them. I also have a very exciting idea for your company but I will only reveal it to your CEO.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received a free roll of scotch blue original Multi surface tape in the mail awhile back. I decided to try my hand on the many thrifty items I have in my garage. As The 4th of July was approaching, I chose a patriotic theme. I used the tape to paint a flag on an old window, chair, suitcase, shutter, old window screen and shovel. For the most part I was pleased with the results. There was some paint bleed under the tape & also some paint came off when I peeled the tape off. I think if I had the scotch blue edge lock or delicate surface tapes, this wouldn't of been an issue. Needless to say, the items sold very fast & I'm looking forward to trying the other tapes & making more items.

I have been using 3M painter's tape for decades and have never had much of an issue. I have a roll now that refuses to stick to anything. I spend an hour taping a room and come back 30 minutes to pain and half the tape is hanging loose. Did they change the manufacturing process or glue? I have used this roll in different locations with different types of paint and it sucks. It just won't stay where I put it.

Is the only brand I use. Reasons: (1) I like when I'm finished painting my edges stay crisp and perfect. (2) Easy of application to surface and I can use a spray gun, spray enamel from a can and not worry about paint bleeding under any ScotchBlue products (tape). I don't own a camera or cam recorder but I love Scott blue(TM)

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received the product free from 3M. I like this tape very much. I use this tape not only as painting also as putting my kid’s art work on the wall. It come off very clean when I removed the tape from the wall. I think this tape is so useful.

We originally bought this tape for use on the outside of our car as we trust it to peel off cleanly without taking any paint with it. It never made to our car as there are just so many uses! One of the main uses is to mark food containers with the contents and date for in the fridge. That way we always know how long something has been in there. This wonderful blue tape ALWAYS peels off cleanly and without leaving any residue.
