I give this product 4 out of 5 stars only because the tape tends to rip in certain spots when trying to peel it back from the wall after painting. Only a minor gliche but otherwise works perfect!! And makes for great tape baseballs once we are done and we crush it all and put them in ball form! :)

But for some reason, I hadn't given ScotchBlue tape a try until recently. Let me tell you - In all honesty, this has got to be my new favorite DIY tool. The feel of the product itself is unmatched. The sticky side was strong but didn't leave that nasty residue behind on my hands. That alone will have me coming back for more. This review sounds like an infomercial, but I assure you that I'm speaking honestly! I love it!!

I think a lot. I usually use a more expensive brand (there’s only one - you could probably figure it out), but since I was doing such a huge area I thought I would try Scotch Blue. Not a great decision given I was painting baseboards on my newly refinished hardwood floors - paint seat under the edge of the tape despite the fact that I applied it appropriately. Should have spent the money for the green tape.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Over the years, I have painted many houses before flipping the homes (long before it was a thing to do), and always used different masking tapes with questionable results. I tried ScotchBlue about 5 years ago and will never use anything else from then on. It goes on easily (and I sometimes need to reposition the tape if I am being sloppy---and it sticks well); If I delay between subsequent coats of paint and the tape is left on a few days, it still removes easily and cleanly when I want. It holds tight on the edges and leaves a clean line between colors for detail decoration painting. Thank you for a wonderful product. (I use it for all sorts of other craft and packaging projects too with superb results).

I recently painted my small bathroom which had alot of corners, shower stall, sink, mirror, etc. - this blue tape made it all happen. LOVE IT!!!!!

I've used Scotch Blue for the past several painting projects I've had. I use it with confidence on my own projects as well as projects I do for friends and family. I like the way it is easy to apply yet holds firm and secure offering me the security I need to do these projects. When the job is done, Scotch Blue is removed with ease. Not only was it easy to apply but came off with ease after I was done painting. I had full confidence when I was painting that the tape was protecting my trim. I had zero cleanup or touchups to do because I used such good trusted tape.

When walking thru the door, he said "Oh you got the good stuff !" Commented back "Of course it's 3M and probably made in america."
