[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love love love this GE ice maker! It looks classy in the kitchen and works wonderfully. We had a party and this ice maker was working quick providing ice for the whole night.

Installed our machine almost two months ago. We love it! Makes plenty of ice, perfect every time. Only down side is required weekly cleaning, however, having the ice is worth the trouble. We feel this was a great purchase for us.

This ice maker is great! The side tank is a must when owning this ice maker. We have been having so much extra ice that we have been storing extra in our deepfreezer.

Totally love this ice maker. Its priced higher than other models, but totally worth it. I shopped around a lot and took my chance on the GE model, versus the Frigidaire which is cheaper, but trash ! We have had the GE Profile for about 3 months and it makes the perfect sonic ice all day. It takes some time to get used to the sound of it making ice, however its worth it. I would totally recommend this one if your are like me debating back and forth because this one is priced higher, just buy this one and you will be happy with the quality, the sleek look on any bar. I use my filtered alkaline water to fill it, so the ice taste amazing!

First...you MUST use only distilled water. Filtered water is not the same. Second, the frequency of maintenance cleaning is improved with distilled water, but still too often needed. We love the ice. We had 2 of these. It's easier to go buy a bag of ice from Sonic for 2 dollars.

I have been wanting an Opal ice maker for a long time. Looking forward to using it a lot this summer!

Just got this ice maker and I really like it I'm familiar with it because my son has had one for a couple of years.

LOVE soft nugget ice! It did not fit on our counter under our cupboards but fit perfectly on our bar cart! Score!

We have only had this appliance for a few days, but so far it has performed great! Lots of ice, looks nice on the counter and is easy to use.

Had the same unit for years and love it. With a family of five, it gets used. After 5 great years, replaced with with the same unit.
