We'd like to provide information on how and when the Opal produces ice. In general operation, ice will be continuously made to keep the bucket full and that it will melt and water will be recycled to make more ice. There are scheduling options within the SmartHQ app that allow time-specific ice production and we recommend checking to see if that feature has been enabled. If you need help with the scheduling option, please contact our Connected Home Support Line Team at 1-800-220-6899 (Monday - Friday 9am - 9pm EST, Saturday 9am - 3pm EST), or email connected@help.geappliances.com.

Small Capacity & Noisy

For the size of the machine, it doesn't make enough ice and the ice melts very quickly. Also, around 4 pm each day it makes a horrible noise for about 10 minutes. It's going back to Sam's.
